Good news for 2004, but look out in 2008 she'll be in the game

I'll say. Bush is too well liked -- regardless of the economy -- to have much of a chance of losing against these uninspiiring potential opponents the dems have put up. We have to remember the charisma factor that got Clinton elected, and the fact the old Herbert walker wasn't exactly considered a man of the people

I think there will be a landslide too for Bush! Bush needs to keep getting out there to the people (something his father didn't do that much). People want to know that president is not afraid to get out there and talk to them. Bush is a people person! He connects more than any other president! I can't wait! BUSH/CHENEY 2004!!!

Okay! Should everything go well, and should Democrats nominate Howard Dean, it will be 50 states for the President!

Non-jewish whites are only about 64% of NY voters. I don't think a conservative will ever win the state again, but GWB has a much better shot at Connecticut, Maine, Pennsylvania. The landslide scenario is a likelihood at this point...

Schumer is nauseating! That approval rating is disheartening and unless Rudy gets into the race, we're going to have to put up with upChuck until he dies/retires.

The really interesting news in this poll is the Union Household numbers. Across the board, as I scanned it briefly, it seemed to mirror the average figures. This is in the face of the conventional wisdom about union votes tilting heavily to the democrats, no matter the candidate. What most people don't realize is that nowadays, union households are about 40% republican, if I remember right. (I call us closet republicans, we're working on our secret handshake) The general membership is getting pretty fed up with being beaten over the head constantly with "support the democrats" and are just tuning it out. This puts all the states with high union membership up for grabs, not a lock for the dems anymore.

Look for a landslide in 2004!

That's the only way he'll carry NY.

Way to go New York!
What counts though, are the ratings in 2004!
