Sandy Duncan Speaks Out (Doesn't 'respect' Pres. Bush, Dubya not 'really smart' or 'globally aware')
MSNBC ^ | April 1, 2003 | Jeanette Walls

The Dixie Chicks aren't the only Texas natives bashing President George W. Bush.

Sandy Duncan who is performing in South Carolina, told a local paper that she questioned the decision to go to war, and wishes that rather than President Bush, the United States had a leader who was 'globally aware' and 'really smart.'

'I just wish men would quit thinking they could just duke it out with each other,' the native of Henderson, Texas, told the Times and Democrat.

'I don't have all of the facts, and who knows what's really the truth, but I really don't respect [President Bush's] way of dealing with this situation.

It would be great to have someone really, really smart in that office, and someone who is globally aware.'

Lucky Stiff. When Comedy Central roasted him, he had a different 'Playmate' for every day of the week.

One's enough for me. Wonder how he keeps track?

Suddenly Susan

Wasn't "Suddenly Susan" about Brooke Shields?

Also, you ever heard of a show called "Seinfeld?"

Read where the Flixy Twits CD sales have lost more than 40%.....saw the same thing in Rolling Stone. The comment from RS was 'It's called Free Speech people, Get over it'.

I agree completely. The Chicks have the freedom to say what they want, we have the freedom not to buy their product. Free Speech is a wonderful thing.

Suppose that's what Rolling Stone meant?

"Where do they keep finding these hasbeens?"

It's the hasbeens way of letting people know they're still out there, and maybe looking for work.

Once you've appeared as a cartoon guest star on Scooby-Doo, it's more or less downhill from there.

I liked Scrappy Do better then her, and I HATED that little sh!t.

I'm glad we have a woman who plays a cartoon male telling us what to think about the President. Her credentials are staggering.

LOL, but in all seriousness, why do these (largely uneducated at best) actors think they sound intelligent when they are...

1. Impugning the intelligence of a Harvard MBA
2. Acting as if he has no help or input from at all from arguably the finest national security team ever assembled.

Thank you for the service. I'm sure that it warms your heart to see 'freethinkers' using their freedom of speech to denigrate the Armed Forces, the country, etc etc etc....

I asked my grandfather (US Army Major, retired) that same question and he said that he tended to take the long term view. People like Sandy Duncan and the Dixie Chicks will be forgotten by next year (or in most cases next week), but their right to speak freely will still be alive and well in America.

I thought that it was an appropriate thought on the subject and was an excellent way to retain one's sanity.

So Sandy, Bush isn't "really smart", huh?

Sandy, where did you go to college? Where did you get your MBA? What was your grade average?

The left loves to promote this lie that Bush is stupid, but Gore is brilliant. They fail to mention that Bush got better grades than Gore in college and, in fact, Gore flunked out of seminary.
