Well this guy is ONLY fooling himself and his family. Me thinks mommie has covered up all his boo boos all his life. Continues to do so. EVERYTHING is EVERYBODY ELSE's fault. The classic "I'm the victim" routine. What bullsheet. If he didn't think he was gonna be arrested then he is deluded. I think he DID know he was gonna be arrested just didn't think it would be just yet. He was gonna flee.

Oh okay I understand your meaning. So he could be on his way across the border and whoever would think he was still inside sipping iced tea. Yeah he may have even driven it a few times to help project the image that the truck was his to drive while he was in in SD. Because, don't you know, he needed a truck for work, lol.

At least one media report, (can't remember which one) reported that his truck was in the parent's driveway. I guess they were fooled. Assuming the report meant the white Dodge I was surprised to see rb's post and even more shocked that it appears to be a tan Ford decoy. What a scam!

I know, just thinking in the beginning of this caper, some proported that SP had an accomplice helping....mind was thinking of several things, when I noticed this other truck...Like, who does this one belong to at Jackie Peterson's home?

thanks for the clarification of my feeble attempt to explain what i'd heard last night. yours is much more understandable--thanks. Also, it hadn't occurred to me that there are bodies of water around CalPoly--duh! That missing girl's body never surfaced after 10yrs, so no wonder scott might have thought he'd be successful a second time around. Of course, this all speculation on my part.

No, he wasn't working there. You got that misimpression because of the poor syntax in the original article that mentioned that. The mgr of that golf course was working there when he saw scott arrested at the parking lot (scott was on his way into the golf course to PLAY while the rest of the country was watching anxiously to see if it was his wife/baby). Anyway, the way that article was written almost made it sound like scott was the one working, but no, it was the mgr.

Just heard Rita C. on Fox a minute ago, she said SP is in an 8x8 foot cell, very sparse of course, only a bed, sink and toilet, he has to share a tv and phone with 4 or 5 other men (awww), can't leave his cell at all, except to shower and then twice a week exercise.
He's going to be roughing it from now on. Hope it was worth it to him...

Right, your post reminded me of one other thing. Rita C. said that SP has not talked at all. Not even on the long ride back to Modesto. She said he slept a little but nothing else.
