My husband has been a long-time member of FR, but I only recently discovered that the hours he spent with his head buried in some forum, was THIS forum. I'm hooked now on the breaking news FReepers always seem to present and the usually excellent, insightful commentary found in these pages. Staunchly conservative (and more so with the passing years), I've never felt comfortable talking politics in public--unsure of my ability to present cohesive arguments to flaming liberals (especially my ultra-liberal sister when she goes off on her typical, irrational, liberal rants). I'm slowly finding the confidence to post here, and maybe that confidence will inspire me to take on my sister one day!
