No, he wasn't working there. You got that misimpression because of the poor syntax in the original article that mentioned that. The mgr of that golf course was working there when he saw scott arrested at the parking lot (scott was on his way into the golf course to PLAY while the rest of the country was watching anxiously to see if it was his wife/baby). Anyway, the way that article was written almost made it sound like scott was the one working, but no, it was the mgr.
