My day as a picket in the Anti-War Protestor's Camp(After Action Report)
myself ^ | 15 April 2003 | Trueblackman

Posted on 04/15/2003 6:25:59 AM PDT by Trueblackman

On Saturday April 12th I spend my day as a spy in the camp of the enemy.

I arrived some 1 1/2 hours after the start of their rally and quitely stood by as many of them ran about.

One group of all dressed in black protestors engaged the police and ran outside the protest route at one point they even attempted to knock a DC Police Officer off his bike to which the police to their benefit where not having that the guy was arrested and his friends who egged him on before just looked on .

The Pinkos then moved to Freedom Plaza where I had to listen to speaker after speaker denouce President Bush and the military and the Pinkos even changed their tactics from "No Blood for Oil" and "No War" to "Occupation Does Not Equal Liberation."

Later as thing moved along I openly confronted some of the peace protestors. I question a few about the crowds turning out in the streets of Baghdad to greet US Military Members, to which I received statements that it was all "staged" and the funnies moment were when CNN and MSNBC were denouced as Rightwing News Channels controlled by Corporations or FoxLite.

Some of the peaceprotestors even openly admitted the only reason they where there was because Bush was President and the fact that he was in the White House and from the photo take by my fellow DC Chapter Freepers you can see that.

One protestor told me that she would never forget about Florida and what Racist Republicans did to Al Gore and the Good People. I asked her if Al Gore was President would she be protesting, she said "no" because Al Gore has stated he would "never" have started this war and even if he did he would have went throught the UN and put together a massive coalition of nations. I quickly pointed out that when then President Clinton launch Operation Desert Fox with only the help of the UK that Gore supported Clinton's call to take down Saddam in 1998. The little misinformed Pinko Democrat blinked at me stupidly and melted back into the crowd at this point.

One of the last protestors I confronted was Allen(he seemed like a nice guy and a little misinformered, but nice) Allen did understand when I compared Kosovo to Iraq and even admitted that Saddam was a bad guy, but could not bring himself to support President Bush and the troops because he believed that the money could have been better spend on schoos, jobs, and health care.

I pointed out to Allen that we give billions in federal aid to schools yet because of Democrats and Teachers Unions there is no accountability in what happens to the money and they seem to like that way. He admitted after I made my arguement that I could be right.

Allen even admitted that Presidents have little to do with the economy and the very bike that he was push was made by a corporation(the same ones that speakers where preaching against).

Allen was enlighten at the fact that I was a vet and that allot of veterans are no happy with the VA Hospital System and that allot of doctors in the VA System are rejects from the Private Hospital Sytstem and that his buddies who are pushing for National Health Care want use to use the broken system from Canada. Allen even admitted that I was right on that, to which his friends wanted him to move along.

At this point I was pretty tried and headed for my car, but after walking some distance I did turn and yell USA, USA, God Bless President Bush, and our troops to which I received a few middle fingers, but I did get the thumbs up from a few uniformed and undercover police officers.

I called Kristinn at this point for our after Freeper meeting location for drinks and fun.

It will take a lot of showers to get all that hippie funk off of you, must have been a depressing experience to realize such a large amount of people in America have such a low I.Q.

Had Al Gore been elected, all those people would have been replaced by freepers denouncing the president.

Wow. Just wow.

It would have been a hoot if you'd marched with them past the Washington Post, where we were. We would have totally blown your cover ("Ooo, there's Kevin! HI Kevin!").

Good job Trueblackman. You're always on the front lines. My hat's off to you.

About their new mantra of "Occupation Does Not Equal Liberation." I suppose after that comes "Liberation Does Not Equal Freedom" yada, yada, yada.

Well I would not have been one of them because after 3 high speed deployments to the Gulf because of Saddam it was time to say bye bye to his ass.

Al Gore ... would have went throught the UN and put together a massive coalition of nations.

"Massive" meaning more than the 40 or so who backed the current operation, I suppose. Good grief. I salute your fortitude.

Not lilely. If Gore had been elected, there would not have been a war. We would already have appeased the monster.

You're right, of course. I'd be denouncing Gore for appeasing terrorists and ramming Kyoto down the country's throat.

I'd also be denouncing him for selling out the interests of the US to the UN.

But I wouldnt be denouncing him for military action in Iraq, because it never would have happened under Pres. Gore.

I saw one sign in that crowd that said "Bush Killed Rachel Corrie". I mean, really. That crowd is utterly demented.

Great work - I'm glad you guys are out there doing this. I would love to confront the anti-Bush crowd but I fear I might lose my temper with the lefties. Thanks.
