I have to admit that I like Col Hunt. His Joe Pesci voice kills me...LOLYour post cracked me up! For the last couple weeks, my husband & son have been referring to Col. Hunt as "Colonel Leo", after Pesci's Lethal Weapon character: "First they f*** you with the anthrax..."

I just find it distracting that she always looks like she's freezing...get the gal a "sideline heater" or something!

The problem is, the main station I listen to is owned by ABC (or ABC's parent company). So, there's no remedy there. That's the Rush channel, so I'll either just learn to live with it again, or listen on the internet.

Anybody else think Col. Hunt would be the shoe-in to play Hank Hill's father if they ever do King Of The Hill--The Movie?
Col. Hunt isn't cranky, but the rest of the similarities are uncanny...
From the FOX KOTH site: Cotton Hill's Bio:
NAME: Cotton Hill
OCCUPATION: Retired war hero ("The Big One")
PROUDEST ACHIEVEMENT: Received Purple Heart for having his shins blown off
GREATEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Hank Hill
FAVORITE PASTIME: Stopping by the wax museum to give FDR the finger
QUOTE: "I don't take no anesthetic. Did Lincoln ask for any girlie gas when they blowed his head off?"

I have an old TiVo Series 1.
All Tivos use a standard 30 minute buffer. So you can rewind the last 30 minutes of whatever you are watching.
Now many folks have hacked their boxes, and have also found out how to increase this buffer to just about any size.
This buffer is quite volatile. If you change channels, the buffer is erased and starts a new empty one.
If you want something less volatile, tell it to record 12 two hour chunks per day.

Rastus may have the same problem I have here in MS. On our talk radio we do get Rush, Hannity, Dr. Laura but the news on the hour is ABC and breaking news comes from ABC. Would love to have a FOX radio feed for hourly news and breaking news....

Don't watch much TV but have surfed by CNN and noticed Hack on with Larry King.
If he's not a FNC employee why does Sean Hannity constantly have him on his radio show and pointedly not criticize Hack?
Perhaps Hack is still on the FNC payroll.

I thought the same thing but the other night as I was looking close to them I saw a lot of puffy eyes, another seemed like he had problems keeping his eyes opened. Then came this soldier that looked exhausted, and had trouble talking, he reminded me when I have been just too tired to even think straight. When he started to say his "Hi" to the people back home there was no energy, he mentioned having a little girl. These guys are just too tired.
I mean when they get their chance to say Hi they always light up, but they weren't. For me its exhaustion. I wish there were something that could be done, now is when they need to be rested and refreshed.

Same here. Yesterday they had Dan Blather "interviewing" and Iraqi - Blather's report was that the Iraqi told him that having Saddam was better than what they had now! Unbelievable.

Major Bob has stage apeal, but can be fact challenged.
(ever since he had the 10th Mountain Division "parachuting into Afghan country".....they don't jump.)

I liked when he was asked about terrorists from other countries coming into Iraq to fight the US, he said something like 'bring 'em on, better to get rid of them all at once'.

I'd swear that Jennifer was hitting the hotel bar too hard when she was in Jordan.
I like her, but I swear she was drunk over the half the time she was reporting. Funny drunk, all that head tilting, and breathless commentary.
Was great fun trying to decide.

If he had his own show he wouldn't have to worry about being placed in a segment where he has to talk fast. He could have an entire hour to talk!!
To: Paul Atreides
Yes, I believe it was a man, too. I saw the heartwrenching segment on O'Reilly, too.

IMHO, she has zero personality. She speaks with a very dull monotone. She's pretty, for sure, but I personally don't enjoy watching her.
