Interesting live footage on CNN
Posted on 04/12/2003 9:27:32 PM PDT by saquin
CNN reporter Brent Sadler traveling on a road very near Tikrit. The retired military officer in the studio keeps telling him to be careful. I find these live shots very nerve-wracking. It seems rather foolish for a reporter to be doing this, considering that Tikrit is a Saddam stronghold. Just a heads-up in case anyone is interested.

Not familiar with Fisk. I do know he has no fans on FR.
Tell me about the Fisk moment.

yes seeing it now, Sadler actually was on a road the other night and there were hundreds of Iraqi soldiers walking home...did you see that?
I don't watch CNN during the day but when it's daytime in Iraq
you can catch some interesting footage. Sadler seems to be on his own and not imbedded.

even the military anylast isnt pointing out that an obvious repairbase full of useless equitment would be abandoned by this point.
To: swheats
The anchor guy just told Sadler that they might be watching CNN right now...

It makes me nervous also. I must admit that this is utterly fascinating even though it is on the Creepy News Network.

Fisk is a major leftist/terrorist apologist war reporter. Went into a war zone and got the living daylights beat out of him by his beloved terrorist "Freedom Fighters". So he came home to recuperate and wrote even more loving stories about the terrorists/thugs, blaming the US for why he was beaten up, "we must understand the root cause of their hatred, blah blah blah"...
To: abner
I was thinking that too. Someone could be watching them~fedyeen(sp) or snipers.

it does matter about the lies...but this is live like a webcam, not an op-ed piece... My feelings exactly. This is virtually a "no-spin zone". I can't pass up watching live footage like this that no one else has. I don't care if it's CNN.
