To say that this is Clinton's military is laughable on its face. The military is more than equipment and technology. It is blood and guts and courage and sacrifice....and leadership that brings that out in others. Bush has it and Clinton does not. To compare Clinton to Bush is like comparing Pee Wee Herman to Joe Torre of the Yankees....there is no comparison.

...Time to ask yourself...

...why isn't Friend of HILLARY...

...TOM BROKAW...

...reporting all this to US...

...while still telling US on TV...

...that there was a Massacre of Civilians...

...at the Bridge of NO GUN RI...

...when there really NEVER was..?

Just ask HILLARY RODHAM, who now sits on our U.S. Senate's Armed Services Committee overseeing our U.S. Military in Time of War.

I ate bananas in 2002. That's why we won in Iraq. It makes as much sense as Mr. Loathe-the-Military saving us all.

Another ploy of liberals is to claim, "Well, at least Bill Clinton didn't cripple the military like conservatives said he did."

It should be remembered that Congress was pushing the Administration during this time to keep military spending at adequate levels.

I loved it the other night when the forehead guy of Hannity and Colmes told Mike Reagan that it was Clintons army and that Pelosi has always supported the war in Iraq!

He sure must feel stupid given what Nancy Pelosi said (Again) today!

As Rush says if it was Clinton's army that gave us victory than was it Clinton's recession as well????? He put more enrgy into the economy than into the military.

Your damn right its Clintons military. If it were not we would have more ships, planes and men to fight it. Clintons much bragged about reductions in the "size of government" were almost entirely if not ENTIRELY at the expense of THE MILITARY. You could look it up! He bragged about it, remember>

I don't buy any of this. It's clear that the military was reduced over the past several years under the post-Cold War "peace dividend" thinking.

However, the real difference between the current CIC and clinton is the manner in which the battle orders were given to the military by the civilian authority. I think GW set out clear objectives, then let the military run the war without the political interference which was the hallmark of the clinton administration.

This war isn't about budgets. It's about presidential leadership, clear objectives, and the understanding that the military is for breaking things and killing people.

About two weeks ago, I saw Barney (Fag) Frank being interviewed on CNN. He was the one that claimed it was Bill Clinton's army that won the victory.

When Lieberals say stuff like this, they are hoping that we have forgotten.

FR Flashback Time.

Can You Name This Country?

709,000 regular (active duty) service personnel
293,000 reserve troops
Eight standing Army divisions
20 Air Force and Navy air wings with 2,000 combat aircraft 232 strategic bombers 13 strategic ballistic missile submarines with 3,114 nuclear warheads on 232 missiles 500 ICBMs with 1,950 warheads.
Four aircraft carriers and 121 surface combat ships and submarines, plus all the support bases, shipyards and logistical assets needed to sustain such a naval force.

Is this country Russia?. . . No.
Red China ? . . . No.
Great Britain ? . . Wrong Again.
France?....Nope.
USA? . . . You are still wrong.
Give up??
Well, don't feel too bad if you are unable to identify this global superpower, because this country no longer exists. It has vanished. These are the American military forces that HAVE DISAPPEARED since the 1992 election of Bill Clinton and Al Gore....Sleep well America.

Most of you prolly recognize the above, it was posted here frequently from Dec.1999-Nov.2000, as well as being circulated via email and reported on Rush.
