These false charges must be coming from a RAT cult talkie because all the Clintonistas are spouting these lies on the nightly news shows. And sadly they've been getting away with it.

Anybody have any good sources on the acussation that we supplied them with Chemical/Biological weapons, or the precursors or equipment? That is a big one I think.. there are varying stories..

Thanks... regarding sources, while I don't have links to them saved, I've seen a number of "we armed them!" articles around- seems to be a standard 'rat Talking Point.
Off the top of my head, we backed Iraq in the Iran/Iraq war, as the lesser of two evils.
The main suppliers of dual-use technology & weapons were the Germans & French, IIRC.

Anybody have any good sources on the acussation that we supplied them with Chemical/Biological weapons, or the precursors or equipment?A review of thousands of declassified government documents and interviews with former policymakers shows that U.S. intelligence and logistical support played a crucial role in shoring up Iraqi defenses against the "human wave" attacks by suicidal Iranian troops. The administrations of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush authorized the sale to Iraq of numerous items that had both military and civilian applications, including poisonous chemicals and deadly biological viruses, such as anthrax and bubonic plague.

Pinched this from another thread the other day. Can't vouch for it accuracy I can. It's not accurate. The "1%" number for the USA includes unarmed civilian helicopters (Bell 212/214, etc) that were sold to Iraq for civilian purposes and then confiscated by the Iraqi military and used as VIP transports. Since they are unarmed, they should not count as "weapons", and since they weren't sold to the military they should also not count as "weapons". The correct percentage for the USA should be zero on this chart, because other than these helicopters, nothing in the Iraqi inventory is made in the USA.
