Sign advertising the rally.
Curtis Sliwa founder and president of the Guardian Angels holding my sign, a big FreeRepublic booster on his radio show on WABC NY. Notice the website name on the sign.
FReeper Clemenza holds a sign that got lots of raves at the rally.
Somewhere in that sea of humanity is FReeper Nitro and whoever else from FR attended.
Curtis Sliwa gets the crowd all excited. He gave a damm good speech. Better than the cardboard politicians there.
A HUGE flag is unfurled at the rally
other half of the flag
Following the rally Clemenza and Cacique follow an old FReeper tradition and visit a local diner called Tiffany's.
On a visit to Model's we find a classic Sadam Hussein T-shirt for sale.

Excellent. Glad you got to catch up with Curtis again. He and his team are going all out to be there for the people. In turn, the people are there for the troops. It's a win-win situation.

Oh that, I forgot about that. But really, would you call Hillary a congresswoman? (her sex is in doubdt) a congressman? (insulting to all males). Incidentally congressperson includes senators. The Congress consists of the Senate and the House of Representatives. Where a representative became a congressman is lost in history. Anyway, congressperson denotes both senators and representatives, male and female and in-between.

Thanks for the ping.
It must have been cold and windy there on the water.
It looks like a great turnout though.
Nice pictures. I'm jealous I didn't get to meet Curtis :(

You should organize a pro troops rally in London. We'd like to see the pictures. Let's see our UK FReepers on the streets.

I want to make signs for our rally this Saturday- can I have some more ideas for slogans? We are right near Patrick Airforce Base and their kids go to our schools here- I would like them to see us support the families left behind too

Fantastic pics. Thanks for sharing them. Looks like everyone had a good time. I wish I could've gone, but unfortunately I had a prior commitment. Next time, for sure.

Thanks Cacique! You are a tireless activist for the causes of Liberty and Patriotism. Unlike the post office (at least in Brooklyn), you truly carry on through sleet, snow rain hail and Democrats!

Once a Brooklynite, always a Brooklynite, even if the Dodgers, Feltmans and Steeplechase are gone. So the old timers around here tell me (not that I'm calling you old or anything!).
Well, at least we now have the Brooklyn Cyclones where the Thunderbolt used to be!

I've lived in NY, NJ, TX, CA, MA & presently in FL and I agree....having been born in Brooklyn....I remain a Brooklynite!

Not to complain, but how could you go to "Cannonball Park"...
and not get a shot of the cannon?
I know the 'official' name is John Paul Jones Park, but here in "The Ridge" it is Cannonball Park.
