KERRY ALERT: Americans tell Kerry where to put his "regime change"
NY POST ^ | April 6, 2003 | letters column

Edited on 05/26/2004 5:13:14 PM PDT by Jim Robinson. [history]

In its effort to disarm a genuine madman, the U.S. military has gone further, saved more Iraqi civilians and taken fewer casualties then any one dared to dream possible. In spite of this - or perhaps because of our success - presidential hopeful Sen. John Kerry sees fit to call for a regime change in America ("John Kerry's Calumny," Editorial, April 4). By uttering these contemptible words while our brave men and women are in combat, Kerry proves himself to be shameless, despicable and completely unfit for any type of political office in this nation. Democrats should speak out against him, or they will soon be battling the Green Party for political relevancy.

Dumbocrats are famous for pandering to hyphenated American voters.

American-Nutcases for Kerry will get some interesting campaign promises:

1) Padded cells for everyone.
2) Federal dollars for basket-weaving.
3) Their own Cabinet-level status - Dept of Nutcases....
Clinton 'd make a great Secretary of Nutcases

Where are the Greens gonna go? Maybe Nader will run again but after collapsing
to less than 5% in 2000 (even with Phil Barf Donahue backing him), maybe not.

Dumbocrats hatred of Bush is predicated on their own misguided exalted perception of
themselves that such a person as Bush, whom they consider unworthy, could have beaten
them in 2000 and again in 2002.

From your friends at Heinz, a new soup hits the market! Heinz's "Kerry Kernels" - an enchanting combination of sour and bland. Filled with the taste of biting sarcasm and devious and pompous self promotion. Cooked up by the DNC and our own Teresa who picked the right "variety" when the old man kicked off.
On sale this week and for the next year or so while we try to get the American taste buds adjusted to this rehash of that old standby: Chicken Kerry noodle.

I did not really take Geraldo's map very seriously.

I think that he was getting on the nerve of the Troops and they just gave him the boot.

The man is an ass and they were going to find any reason to dump him.

The one that they used was a prety good one though.

There also was a story around here a while back making charges toward John Kerry and his behaviour.

Apparantly he shot a Viet Namese Soldier in the back.

I forget the exact story, I will see if I can dig it up later.

Hey, now...I think Geraldo is a grandstander, but don't compaare him to Arnett or Kerry. He screwed up with his big mouth trying to play to the audience, but I don't for a minute believe it was intentional.

REGIME CHANGE UPDATE
DRUDGE REPORT XXXXX SUN APRIL 06, 2003 18:49:38 ET

KERRY 'REGIME CHANGE' ECHO CHAMBER

Massachusetts Senator John Kerry may have been the first presidential candidate to publicly call for a "regime change" in Washington, but other pillars of the party have been indoctrinating the term for months, research shows.

ActressSingerMotherDirectorCitizenWife Barbra Streisand Has Called For Regime Change. At a fund-raising concert for House Democrats last October, Ms. Streisand called for a "regime change" in Washington and said, "I find bringing the country to the brink of war unilaterally five weeks before an election questionable -- and very, very frightening."

Rev. Jesse Jackson: "We need a regime change in this country." [October 27, 2002]

Louis Farrakhan: "I am crying out to the American people to rise up because your president is the world's threat to peace. When you talk about a regime change in Iraq if this man continues like this there must be a regime change in America. Our president is drunk with the power of the United States of America." [October 9, 2002]

Rep. John Conyers (D-MI): "We need a regime change in the United States." [March 16, 2003]

Former LBJ Attorney General Ramsey: "Regime change! George Bush has to go and we have the power to do it. The officials of the government shall be removed from office for crimes and misdemeanor; their crime against peace, and for use of torture in Iraq." [March 31, 2003]

Michael Moore: "The regime change ought to begin at home." [Nov. 10, 2002]

Actress Susan Sarandon: "I'd like a regime change in the United States, but I would really resent Iraq coming in, throwing out Bush and then telling us who to have." [Jan. 3, 2003] END

I don't seem to remember Senator Kerry demanding a regime change in the past. I wonder why.

It's already happened in he Democratic Socialist side of the Senate.
