(moan) Another reason to lose an hour of sleep . . . .

You may not like the clock change, but we do it anyway. Usually there are plenty of reminders, but this time I have heard only one so far.

"Spring back, Fall forward" and you will have two hours that you will have to make up.
Spend Saturday night drinking at friend's house and change his clocks. Remind him later to advance his clocks one hour.

You left out Baghdad, where we are just cleaning their clocks for 'em.

Actually, I like the clock change, except we should do it earlier (mid-March to mid-September). Sunrise times get too late in October.

DST singlehandedly destroyed the drive in movie business.

Thanks for the reminder. monday morning day shift would have been atrocious. I wonder if it will be darker or lighter at 6:15 AM. It has gotten lighter and lighter the more away from winter.

Baghdad and most of Europe have already changed their clocks. Notice that Houston went from -9 to -10 compared to Baghdad. We revert to -9 this weekend.

Wrong. Liberal actors have destroyed the drive-in movie business.

I dunno. Name a single Liberal actor in "Texas Chainsaw," (the last flick shown at the Town and Country Drive In in my home town.)
To: PetroniDE
WOHOOO I get to work one less hour and still get paid for a full shift. :)
To: PetroniDE
Duly noted, sir.
Now I get to do yard work when I get home from work! Hooray! ("seriesly")
To: PetroniDE
Crap. I HATE going to Daylight Saving Time.

Stupidest dang thing I ever heard of. "It's for the farmers?" I don't think so - cows don't wear wristwatches.
This is going to cut into either my sleeping or my FReeping. Looks like yawn city coming down the line...
To: Chancellor Palpatine
I actually dig it for a while because I am very light sensitive and wake up way too early now because of early light. I have been awake at a little after 5 each morning, just from the light peeking through the blinds. One extra hour of sleep for me from now on. Woohoo.
To: Chancellor Palpatine
Crap. I HATE going to Daylight Saving Time. Just like the government to take an hour from me and not return it for six months and not even pay interest on it.
