If you thought the rabid anti-Americanism displayed by such bottom-sucking slugs as Michael Moore was as low as Hollywood can sink, think again. The producer of the CBS miniseries "Hitler: The Rise of Evil" says it is a warning to the American people that if they don't watch out the Bush administration could morph into a carbon copy of Hitler's National Socialist dictatorship.
According to the New York Post, something called Ed Gernon, the CBS producer of the Hitler miniseries starring Robert Carlyle, Peter O'Toole and Julianna Margulies, says he sees the program as a warning for Americans about the Bush administration. And this craven fool says that that he, Margulies and director Christian Duguay all think it's a good idea for Americans to keep Hitler's Nazi regime in mind while looking at the Bush White House.
A fearful American public's cooperation with Bush's policies, Gernon tells TV Guide, is "absolutely" similar to post-World War I Germany's acceptance of Hitler's extremism. "I can't think of a better time to examine this history than now," he said.
CBS President Leslie Moonves quickly separated himself from Gernon's disgusting tirade, telling TV Guide he doesn't share the filmmaker's highly paranoid views and doesn't subscribe to the Bush-Hitler comparison.
Isn't that big of him?
What the American people need to do is keep Stalin's propaganda ministry in mind when watching CBS, a network that hires people such as Comrade Gernon and keeps them on the payroll when they compare the president of the United States to Adolf Hitler.
What can you expect from the network that refuses to lift a finger against useful idiot Dan Rather after he spread propaganda for genocidal dictator Saddam Hussein?

If they want to see potential Hitlers, all they need do is look in the mirror. They have all the characteristics.
How come Dan, Peter, and Tom are still news anchors? Better yet, why is a Canadian telling us what is news or not?
Or that ABC, CBS and NBC haven't changed the format of their biased news programs?
If the ratings are so true that cable news is beating the pants off the network competition, it makes no sense to me to why they would stay with a losing business model...
Something's not kosher with this photograph.
I haven't read the book but I don't see a correlation between Hollywood and Network news shows. Hollywood has to make money but the networks don't seem to follow that premise.
Now I wish I watched CBS News so I could boycott 'em. Thank goodness for FOX!
Be of good cheer. All this does is provide verification that President Bush and the rest of us who love America and its blessings are on the right track.....
I forgot my disclaimer regarding no offense intended to pigs the world over? . . .
You mean, "another anti-American *pukes* out! : )
What Mr. Gernon is trying to convey, is that a person who is concious of the need of the people to muster their indivdual rights into a well-regulated, Armed military force, for their common defense, to exercise martial power authorized by the duly elected representatives of the people sitting in legislature ... this, Mr. Gernon is trying to sell, is "militarism."
Instead of all the lawful heritage and our respect for due process by which we defend liberty, Mr. Gernon asks his followers and audience to stare only at "militarism." With the paint brush and many layers of the available imagery of Hitler's use of Germany's state police, state security military, and military, all very harsh and "very scary," on this point, he piles on his fears of it; that, he wants us to buy.
Well, I agree that the worst killer throughout history, second to disease, has been bad government and its abuse, its excess, and its tyranical use of its martial power: its militarism.
What escapes Mr. Gernon, is that, "militarism" is exactly this terror: bad government and its coercive manifestations.
Hitler's ill will makes great film drama, because it was captured on film. While Lenin and Stalin's ill will --- because of the fact that the socialists (thank the leftists, such as Mr. Gernon and his companions for extermination and then extermination of the records of the extermination) were smart enough to bury the story --- has not made such great film drama. To wit: Hitler's national socialist militarism is available to see much more readily than Lenin and Stalin's and Hillary Clinton's nationalizing socialist militarism.
The vast left wing being marginally more devious on the public record, "in the name of peace," whenever you inquire about the left's coercive ways --- the proof --- you get the same answer:
"I don't recall."
The more Mr. Gernon makes an argument for Hitler's national socialist militarism, the more this sad show blocks the view of Hillary's nationalizing socialist militarism coming to a theatre of operations near you.
