Hillary Clinton as Hitler, born again in one of the devil's many disquises, is easily self-evident; she detests the rule of and would much rather have her rule by Party judges and judge-made law; she is nearly, completely opposed to adherence to the due process of our democratic-republic and only follows along with it as she finds this process useful to her rise to power; she vicariously has become the controlling interest in a vast leftwing media empire that is being built as a propaganda machine loyal only to her (Evercore Partners, NYC); the Bill of Rights are uttlerly stripped, by her, of their purpose, which is to affirm a few of our many, yet very important, individual freedoms by which we protect ourselves from government abuse, excess, and tyranny; etc.

What Mr. Gernon is trying to convey, is that a person who is concious of the need of the people to muster their indivdual rights into a well-regulated, Armed military force, for their common defense, to exercise martial power authorized by the duly elected representatives of the people sitting in legislature ... this, Mr. Gernon is trying to sell, is "militarism."

Instead of all the lawful heritage and our respect for due process by which we defend liberty, Mr. Gernon asks his followers and audience to stare only at "militarism." With the paint brush and many layers of the available imagery of Hitler's use of Germany's state police, state security military, and military, all very harsh and "very scary," on this point, he piles on his fears of it; that, he wants us to buy.

Well, I agree that the worst killer throughout history, second to disease, has been bad government and its abuse, its excess, and its tyranical use of its martial power: its militarism.

What escapes Mr. Gernon, is that, "militarism" is exactly this terror: bad government and its coercive manifestations.

Hitler's ill will makes great film drama, because it was captured on film. While Lenin and Stalin's ill will --- because of the fact that the socialists (thank the leftists, such as Mr. Gernon and his companions for extermination and then extermination of the records of the extermination) were smart enough to bury the story --- has not made such great film drama. To wit: Hitler's national socialist militarism is available to see much more readily than Lenin and Stalin's and Hillary Clinton's nationalizing socialist militarism.

The vast left wing being marginally more devious on the public record, "in the name of peace," whenever you inquire about the left's coercive ways --- the proof --- you get the same answer:

"I don't recall."

The more Mr. Gernon makes an argument for Hitler's national socialist militarism, the more this sad show blocks the view of Hillary's nationalizing socialist militarism coming to a theatre of operations near you.

What a great post. Unfortunately the comment above is entirely true too. She travelled the entire planet when she held the reigns as Co-President for 8 years (with an office in the west wing for god's sake) and N.Y.'ers voted her as their Senator.Isn't it about time for her to release her 75 Page College Thesis Praising Saul Alinsky? Everytime a Liberal drops the Hitler word in their argument against a Conservative,(it happens often here in Calif.) I always think it diminishes the havoc and murderous ways he perfected over those many years. There should be a hall of shame for people who do that.

Another problem, jerks such as Gernon and Moore make Hillary look down right 'centrist'.

She is working very hard at that, supporting the war and being on the Armed Services committee.
We all know it's a ruse, but the sheeple have very short memories.

So many forget the Socialist part of the National Socialist Workers Party. Socialism must be totalitarian in nature to perpetuate itself. It must control the population ever more completely because what is not controled turns against the socialists in power. The resultant militarism is a manifestation of that need to control because to control one must have the power to force. In the final analysis that power to force is a man with a gun or as Orwell said a boot in the face. Power is its own end for those who get it usually unchecked by rule of law there is nothing that will not be done. At first, it will be rationalized as for the "common good" then the common good is the perpetuation of the power of the ruler.

You nailed it, as usual.

I posted this a couple of weeks ago. Repeating it here, to voice my agreement with you. :)

Allowing our memories of the Clinton era to fade from our minds would be the easy way out. Who, after living with a rotting, festering tooth for eight years, finally to have it extracted, would want to spend even one moment of his time reliving the memories of the pain, debilitation, and ugliness of it all?

But we have to.

If the Clintons had merely slithered away (having defaced our White House, and no doubt stolen much of what was not nailed down) once their term in office had expired, it might be advisable for the sake of national healing for us all to dismiss them (and their eight-year deadly, degrading orgy) from our minds.

But they have not merely slithered away. They are simply on hiatus, waiting in the wings for the next round to begin. Still rubbing elbows, no doubt, with the behind-the-scenes leftist power brokers. Still doing everything within their power to degrade and weaken this republic and its current leadership. And all the while considering these last three years a mere respite from the Clinton (and their self-serving minions) dynasty.

When Bill Clinton was elected in ‘92, I don’t believe many of us (with the possible exception of his victims in Arkansas) knew him well. When he was re-elected in ’96, any American who didn’t already know what he was made of (and recognize the long-term damage he had done to this country) was living in a world of denial.

Senator James Inhofe, on the floor of the senate in March of 1999, gave a speech describing the true Clinton legacy (All here on this forum know what that entails – treason, rape, perjury, murder complicity, moral degradation, etc. No need to go into detail.) Inhofe ended his speech with the words, ‘Mr. President, everything I have said during the course of the last thirty minutes is absolutely true. I hope America is listening. We’ve got a nation to save.’

We still have a nation to save. The Clintons are still out there. She is serving (against the best interests of our republic, and individual liberty in general) in the senate. He is actively campaigning for a position of global power from which he can affect this republic from the outside, and seizing every opportunity to degrade, weaken and denigrate the current administration. She is even now being groomed for the presidency – with no more qualification for that office (if you discount chutzpah, that is) than you or I – and probably significantly less (if you count duty, honor, character, and integrity).

The American public is woefully ill-informed (by the mainstream media, and as a result of rampant apathy to look much further than their left-leaning offerings). Those of us who have a real awareness of the true, (and unbearably) ugly nature of Clinton legacy need to see to it that that legacy is burned into the brain of every American. Now …. tomorrow ….and the day after tomorrow. Four years from now, as she is putting her presidential campaign into high gear, will be way too late. There needs to be a constant drumbeat. Each time we find ourselves (or our neighbors) minimizing the deadly effects of the Clinton era, we have to shake ourselves and remember. America will be decades recovering from the Clinton era – if the madmen and enemies he willingly and knowingly empowered don’t destroy us first. Our greatest charge is to remember what they did to this republic, and to guarantee that their brand of history will not repeat itself ever again. America couldn’t survive the sequel.
