By echoing the ''regime change'' line popular with hundreds of thousands of antiwar protesters who have demonstrated across the nation in recent weeks, the Massachusetts senator and Democratic presidential contender seemed to be reaching out to a newly invigorated constituency as rival Howard Dean, the former governor of Vermont and a vocal opponent of the war in Iraq, closes in on Kerry in opinion polls.

My idea of a regime change means removing 90% of the Demorats from the House and the Senate. Can you say recall?

The dumb-o-crat leadership is a total failure. They lead with their own self appointed egos instead of with their brains.
Defeat more in 2004.

He is a leftist...power hungry traitor. Do you seriously believe he cares about anything other than his own power?? I doubt some of the stories I have heard and read about his service. The American people will see him for what he is.

''What we need now is not just a regime change in Saddam Hussein and Iraq, but we need a regime change in the United States,'' Kerry said in a speech at the Peterborough Town Library. Using the phrase "regime change" in this fashion is profoundly offensive. It trust it will be found as such by the voters, should Kerry be the Dem nominee.
In using "regime change," he mocks the efforts our young men and women are undertaking on our behalf and on behalf of freedom in general, at the risk of their lives. And he implicitly compares President Bush to Saddam.
My guess is he'll be very sorry he ever used that phrase in such a context. I hope there's video tape of the remarks; it could come in handy in October and November of 2004.

What an effective way to secure a defeat.
It's almost like he pulled defeat from the jaws of victory, except that he pulled defeat from the jaws of defeat.
