" To engage in wild and unsubstantiated speculation, if we really did gain control over Iraqi command and control capabilities, I suppose one of our first acts would be to expel Al Jazeera from Baghdad." More wild speculation, trying to imagine an effective use of WMDs. The best that I can conceive of, which is still a long shot, is to deploy them on US occupied areas of Baghdad, killing civilians, and causing us to withdrawal.
We won't withdrawal of course, but if the remnants of the Iraqi regime think we would, they'd want to first expel the only journalist that would be believed in the Arab world reporting that Saddam, not the US, was deploying the WMDs on civilians.

Fox as usual only half reporting or just blowing things out of proportions. Just like they reported Basra falling for 5 days...still waiting.

Meanwhile Tariq Aziz in a statement told Iraqis all is well and that victory was at hand.

we are now entering the "whack-a-mole" stage of this war, or better the "whack a saddam regime member" stage.
we are looking for his corpse. he of course, is LONG DEAD... or we would have seen and heard his fool mouth running LIVE somewhere...
Sadaam is dead. This is the cleanup of the regime's criminals and interface operatives with al quaieda types.... so much for another vaunted muslim state sponsor of terror...
So the question is, who's next? Iran, N. Korea, or has Turkey also turned into a gangrenous lesion?
OR will we rest on our laurels... and fail to finish off the dozen or so other regimes that provide haven and support for the "bad guys?"

Tom Daschle is not the only one crapping in his pants. Mr. Scotty Ritter also knows the moment of truth is arriving. Out of all the tales of Sadaam, I am the most interested in this chapter. I honestly think we are going to discover he was blackmailed by Sadaam for having "inappropriate relationships" with underage girls.

"He is not really here but is a fabrication produced by one of America's vile movie production companies, again to fabricate a deception of their utter failure. And look, I am not being dragged off to be put in a jail cell. MORE FABRICATIONS!!!!" At which point, we cut to the Bud Lite commercial, followed by a Chevy Suburban spot, finally the Veg-a-matic spot from Ronco. Then, bring up the theme for The Tonight Show...

Are they in for a shock when Al Jazeria goes live there and films American troops driving through Baghdad waving and yelling "hi mom."Only if Al Jazeera got some reporteres embedded with our troops. Iraq kicked them out of Baghdad yesterday. I'm sure the regime did NOT want those kinds of pictures broadcast throughout the ME. Not that Al Jazeera would do it anyway. I don't think they WANT to send that info out.

So the question is, who's next? Syria. Little Assad is already providing shelter to all the top Iraqi Baathists who can get there, and chances are the whole Nazi leadership will soon be regrouping in Damascus.

Freedoms Fighters empowered by the Economic Engine and Technological Advancements of Captitalism, will always beat the Enscripted Military Fighters of Socialistic Governments. There's a great book called "Carnage and Culture" by Victor David Hansen. The major premise of the book is that Western Civilization will always beat the other nations because of freedom and private property rights. He goes over 9 or 10 classic battles to prove his point.

"I just pray that A) these Special Ops guys stay safe, and B) they're running around Baghdad and wiping out all the so-called Fedayeen they can find.......very, very quietly." Me too! It's almost beginning to sound like a Tom Clancey novel. Perhaps, "Executive Decision" is based on this war...or the other way around. Maybe he'll write another about Syria or Iran...

Israel could take care of Syria with no problem at all. From what I understand Syria military is a pushover. It is worst than the Iraqi army.

Pay no attention to this U.S. soldier who supposedly is standing behind me with a weapon pointed at me. He is not really here but is a fabrication produced by one of America's vile movie production companies, again to fabricate a deception of their utter failure.I was listening to Laura Ingraham's show tonight and she was settin up the same scenario with the Marines standing there duing a news conference and the Dis-information Minister saying it's not a soldier, it's a cardboard cutout!
She was howling the other night when she was making fun of this guy having said that "the Americans are lying to their public opinion"!
