Carnival's cruise ship Triumph docked at St. Thomas.
Ahoy, Freepers! Why not make your next year's vacation a FREEPER CRUISE? Can't think of a better idea!
United we stand for conservative activism AND some good old-fashioned fun, too!
This cruise thread will be running right up until embarkation day. It'll be packed with lots of information.
Post your enthusiastic comments here. Links are provided below for stateroom/fares information, registration form and
the Bahama Mama Q&A thread devoted solely to answers for all your cruise questions and to provide you with smooth sailing.
We strongly urge you to register ASAP. We need a certain number of registrations by a mid-January cutoff date
to ensure our reserved block of cabins with Carnival. From many communications we've received since last year's terrific cruise,
we're certain the interest is out there. We don't want to have to deep-six this event if we don't get enough registrations in a timely manner.
PLEASE NOTE to hold off on making your air tickets reservations until we give you the go-ahead.
We have more than ample lead-time for this cruise and you'll be able to get good air-fare bargains in plenty of time!
Since some air-transportation tickets are non-refundable, we don't want anyone to be left holding the ditty-bag.
As an incentive for early registration, the first 20 Freepers to get their reservations into the travel agency
will win their choice of five (5) sheets of Ocents.com stamp sheets (go to that website for Seeking the Truth's array of terrific stamps!)
They will also receive a usflagballoon.com pin courtesy of Abner (check out Abner's usflagballoon website
to view the colorful pin and some excellent pictures of the US Flag Balloon!) Registrations will be dated and time-stamped by the agency.
Winners will be notified and they'll receive their gift stamps and pins via mail.
We've got a great contest planned for later. A lucky winner will receive a FREE cabin for two!
Last year, the contest was won by our Freeper pal, Taxman. This time it may be you!
Bookmark this thread. We'll keep you posted as plans evolve. Register now for this fun-filled getaway in the sun!
Informal FRN meetings will be held on board which will be full of information and idea-sharing for effective conservative activism.
Rock the boat with your fellow Freepers! Climb aboard today!
This page is for about the cruise.
If you have questions, do not post them here.
Use the Bahama Mama link and ask them there.
Thank you!

The ship's meals receive high ratings. Broiled lobster is featured one night and is a real highlight for the guests. Menus also include more contemporary and gourmet dishes, but they also offer plenty of meat and potatoes for trenchermen appetites. The menu also features very tasty veggie, low-fat and low-sodium entrees.
Nightly entertainment by the waiters is a part of the ship's fun presentations and the diners enjoy it immensely.

That would tend to explain the weird flippy sounds I heard when we talked on the phone...
I've already Freepmailed you if you expressed interest in going on the charter in Cozumel. Let me know by reply as soon as you can if you still want to go.
Right now, we have 6 Freepers on the list which is a full charter. If any slots open up, I'll let everybody know here.
I plan to make the reservation with Albatros Charters for a half-day charter tomorrow (but we can go full day depending on the response). Everybody's share should run about $65-70 apiece, which we'll work out when we get to Cozumel.

I won't repeat the joke here about what the blind man said when he smelled fish ...
That's when our freeper ship will be right there!
Strela's Great Fishing Expedition is THE chance of a lifetime for all you avid fisherfolk out there. And you can't beat the price!
Seize the moment! Register for the FReeps Ahoy cruise toot sweet!

The breakfast buffets include the usual delicious array of hot and cold breakfast dishes, as well as made-to-order omelets.
The lunch buffets feature different hot entree selections each day, plus a salad bar and bowls of tropical fresh fruit.
Free iced tea and lemonade is served all day, as well as free soft ice cream and frozen yogurt.
To one side of the buffet is the Hong Kong Noodle Factory, featuring stir fry dishes and other Asian fare.
On the other side of the buffet is the very popular New York Deli, offering freshly-carved deli meat sandwiches (corned beef on rye, yah!), as well as potato salad, cole slaw and kosher pickles.
Pizza and Caesar salad are available 24-hours a day. The Coney Island Grill serves up grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken breasts and french fries all day.
You'll never go hungry on a cruise, and you'll never hear the phrase, "Honey, you can light the grill now".

Please refer to post # 184 on the Bahama Mama cruise information thread. Link to Bahama Mama at top of this thread. It's a checklist for those cruisers already signed on.

The cruise lines today operate pretty much on what can be described as "freestyle cruising". In a nutshell, this means that whatever preconceived notions about cruising you might have once had, you can toss them out the porthole.
Today, cruising is a whole new animal. It's affordable, casual and totally unstructured.
You dine when, where and with whom you wish, you wear whatever makes you feel comforable (within reason, hah) and you do what activities you want to do when you want to....or you can do very little and get a good week's rest in the sunny, balmy, unpolluted air of the Caribbean.
Our FReeps Ahoy cruise offers everyone the opportunity to sit back and relax, perhaps doing and seeing unexpected and fascinating things, and not worrying about a care in the world for a whole week.
That's what a vacation getaway is all about!

Yep, I'll say it again, the one, the only GREAT FREEPER GLOAT BOAT CRUISE!
One full week of Gloating while we're Boating!
(been waiting a long time to unashamedly post this, heheh!)
