What a moron. If the eyewitness says the bad guy was black, why look for a white man? It's not profiling, it's common sense. Of course, when political correctness arrived, common sense ran out the back door, never to be heard from again.

So the police had information about black suspects in a dark car so they stopped white men in a white van because Chief Moose did not want any racial profiling. They also used the investigation to focus on legal gun owners. I smell a large rat the size of a moose.

There is the distinct, dreadful possibility that Moose deliberately withheld the proper description of the culprits in order to prolong and increase the seriousness of their crime spree in order to bring more accolades upon himself when he finally DOES solve the case. Similar to the fireman who SETS a fire for the purpose of being The Big Hero when he helps put it out.

It's a well-known phenomenon.

Isn't having to say a "white" man is racial profiling in itself?

I am fed up with the racial thing. If a Black man did the crime, a black man did the crime, statisticly, most black men do crime. It isn't racial profiling, it's a fact.

I was in court for a class, the majority of the perpetrators of crime were black. Why would Moose want to ignore the facts and pass out the opposite information to the public, a white van, but it was a dark car, white suspect, but they were black men. Moose is racial profiling himself.

Even after the police started receiving the phone calls from a man who was clearly black (based on his voice), they never released a description of the perps.

Here's hoping that Chief Moose comes to a bad end in Iraq. Alone, of course.

I heard the tape of one of the phone calls -- it was played on the news soon after the two perps were caught. Anyone with an IQ over 40 would have recognized that the caller was a black male.
