Pro-America rally in Ashland, Oregon this Saturday

There will be a Pro-America rally this coming Saturday in Ashland, Oregon, in the main square.

The weekly series of Women In White rallies in Medford (to counter the weekly Women In Black protests) is expanding to Ashland, Oregon.

The Medford rallies have been fantastic, as Medford is solidly Pro-America and conservative, but in Ashland, just 20 miles away, it's completely the opposite. There have been flag burnings, the Mayor was quoted as saying "I'm not gonna have the police stop the protesters [from civil disobedience] because there are more of them than there are of us," and the latest wrinkle is a series of anti-war slogans being spray-painted onto SUV's in the city. It's a very liberal, leftist city, with a lot of college students being stridently anti-war.

Thus, it might get kinda dicey! I Hope to see all Southern Oregon Freepers there!

We love Medford. We stay at a hotel off a main drag there, that has the coolest dog park across the street. Our furred child LOVES it, .. and it amazes us that all the dogs get along so famously. Proof you should socialize dogs.. they are better behaved for having done it.

Anyway.. Wish we could be there with all of you.
