And General Brooks' answer was right on...

After his remark about the applause, Brooks told Wolff, in a nutshell, that if he didn't think that the briefings were of value, he could step off.

I'm finding it difficult to travel from the body of this story to the title of the post. In particular, I have come to the conclusion that the word "worthless" was inserted into the title by the poster, not the press.

Don't mean to jump on you here, but we have to be very careful about how we present our views; absolute accuracy is a must.
