Before leaving for work my wife and I watched Fox show the press conference with the wounded soldiers and marines. All the networks did that, but after the Fox morning crew began discusing these men, described them a true heroes and the best America had to offer. They continued by highkighting the despicable tactics of the fedayeen saddam as contrast, and my wife said"Am I listening to an American anchor saying something good about us? What country am I in?" I said' We're in Fox."

Thanks ! Here is a related article, for those that haven't seen it yet!:

I was a naive fool to be a human shield for Saddam (MUST READ!)

Excerpt:

We on the bus felt that we were sympathetic to the views of the Iraqi civilians, even though we didn't actually know any. The group was less interested in standing up for their rights than protesting against the US and UK governments.

I was shocked when I first met a pro-war Iraqi in Baghdad - a taxi driver taking me back to my hotel late at night. I explained that I was American and said, as we shields always did, "Bush bad, war bad, Iraq good". He looked at me with an expression of incredulity.

As he realised I was serious, he slowed down and started to speak in broken English about the evils of Saddam's regime. Until then I had only heard the President spoken of with respect, but now this guy was telling me how all of Iraq's oil money went into Saddam's pocket and that if you opposed him politically he would kill your whole family.

It scared the hell out of me. First I was thinking that maybe it was the secret police trying to trick me but later I got the impression that he wanted me to help him escape. I felt so bad. I told him: "Listen, I am just a schmuck from the United States, I am not with the UN, I'm not with the CIA - I just can't help you."

Of course I had read reports that Iraqis hated Saddam Hussein, but this was the real thing. Someone had explained it to me face to face. I told a few journalists who I knew. They said that this sort of thing often happened - spontaneous, emotional, and secretive outbursts imploring visitors to free them from Saddam's tyrannical Iraq.

Bump.

I only wish ALL the outlets would start doing this!!!!!!!!!!!

They always label Conservatives don't they?....."far-right firebrand X said today"....."right-wing conservative Y spoke at a meeting of religious conservatives and said"........

When are we going to hear Jennings, Brokaw, Rather, Blitzer et al. say....."Pro-totalitarian lefists gathered today" or "the spokesman for the Pro-Stalinist group ANSWER reiterated his accusations"................

Try to get your friends at the university to listen to Glenn Beck, he is nationally syndicated on the radio, very conservative, and was framing the protestors today, in exactly the same light that you have just done.

It is heartening to hear your report. God bless you and your colleagues at the university where you study.

You will find that many of your fellow students are ignorant or in denial regarding these issues.

The denial is due to years of being harnassed to the liberal bandwagon. When you are convinced that it is fun to pull their cart, it takes awhile to figure out that you're the donkey.

expose the left!

The SacBee will no longer respond to me. I have asked them why they do not out the communists/socialists when they interview them and put their names/quotes on page 1.

You'd sure be wise not to hold your breath. They say it's not possible to kill yourself by holding your breath, but why take chances? Accurate framing by the other media ain't gonna happen, my friend.

The media are the nucleus of this country's problem. Without changing the mainstream media, meaningful change in this country is impossible.

"You've got to keep in mind, Sergeant, that this group is organized by 'Anarchists and Communists,' 'The International Socialist Organization,' and 'Psycho Therapists against War"

Fox gets it right again.

Well ... I blew my cookies at FOX a couple of weeks ago over these "peace" protestors, and how nobody in the media was saying WHO these protestors are. I told them that as the average working stiff - I could find out this information - surely FOX could find this out and expose who these people are and what their real agenda is. I also told them that these are the same rent-a-mobs who were in Seattle and did all the property damage there.

I suspect I was not the only one complaining - and our combined complaints reached the right people!!

And ... parts of this story were on FOX already and I'm glad to see they are amping up the information about it.

Can't the NYPD just borrow a couple of steam rollers from a construction company? They could start one on opposite ends of the street and just roll towards each other.

The fact that the anti-war movement is unable or unwilling to cast aside Stalinists from the organization of protests is very telling. And the news media says NOTHING!.

Only bloggers and conservative news sites even talk about ANSWER as a front group for IAC which is a front group for WWP. But now anti-war affiliated media units(ie: mainstream media) feel its very important to see who is organizing pro-America rallies. Even to weave a web of conspiracy and collusion. But we will never hear about who is funding the WWP?

Black is white, up is down. Pro-America to be viewed with suspicion, anti-America accepted at face value.

Fox is awesome!! Many of us have been e-mailing them with this information and have been extremely happy to see them address this. We even posted an article from Fox on FR that addressed this issue on their website. They are the ONLY news org reporting on this subject.

They report the TRUTH. Thank GOD someone is doing it. Thank GOD they are showing our troops, the British troops and all our Allies that they appreciate them. Fox is making us very proud!!

See response #3 on this link to send them a note :o)

Anti-War protest funding: We have the ANSWER

Tracking Down A Fifth Column Front
By Edward Immler

Vietnam-era anti-war protestors continue their demonstrating today, most recently in San Francisco against a potential Iraq war, but the sponsorship, partnerships, and funding of these groups raise questions about their real purpose. They are very organized, have a significant Internet presence, and actively raise large amounts of money.

This all started when I saw the name of a protest group listed in an AP wire story. I wondered a bit about this and tried to find out about this group via the Internet. I found that I could trace it back at least to 1987 (in various forms, though at the same address). Note that if a foreign country wanted to fund anti-war activism regarding Iraq, all they'd need to do is donate to a day care center in New York (and it's deductible).

Alright for them! I wonder how many ordinary Americans know who is backing these so called peace rally's and why? Not many, unless they watch Foxnews!
