FOX NEWS "OUTS" Protesters!

Just a few moments ago, the morning crew at Fox News was interviewing a wounded soldier from the Army Hospital in Germany and they showed him some footage of the couple dozen "die-in" protesters on Fifth Avenue in New York to get his reaction.
When they set it up, the reporterette said, "You've got to keep in mind, Sargeant, that this group is organized by 'Anarchists and Communists,' 'The International Socialist Organization,' and 'Psycho Therapists against War.'" All three reporters took a shot at the inane, professionally-organized protest and the sargeant just shrugged and said somehing to the effect of "well we're fighting for their right to voice their opinion; just don't take it out on the soldiers is all I have to say." Very classy.
Then good ol' Fred Thompson came on a few minutes later and they "outed the protesters" again! They showed his commercial and talked a bit about how there seemed to be as many photographers as protesters and that it was the same old crowd we've been identifying here at FR since February 15. Fred did a great job articulating why and how the American people should frame these "world-wide" protests. I really appreciated what they said because I've been trying to get the word out at my university. I hope the mainstream media starts to "frame the protests" the way Fox News did . . . (but I'm not holding my breath!)

Have you heard anything about ABC pulling their main reporter (Stephie I would presume) from the briefings by CENTCOM since they don't provide any new information? I just received the question in an email!
In this morning's briefing I swear I heard him ask where General Franks was at and why he wasn't briefing. The General who was briefing told the "jerk" that General Franks was busy fighting the war.

We had five arrested for trying that crap on the West Side Market in Cleveland.
The Market is filled with New European immigrants who own food stands.
This did not go over well AT ALL, as you can imagine. Another case of people not knowing the area and probably hired to drive here.
The protesters were arrested and charged. Had a court date on Tuesday.
Haven't heard a word since.

I vote for a protester reenactment of "The Great Santini" with Robert Duval.
Vomit, then have everyone else eat it. "Chow's on, hogs!!"
Now THAT'S entertainment...

Lets also not forget, the right to protest is exactly what those solders are fighting for. Just because we might not agree with there opinion, doesn't mean they should not be able to express it.
Yes, and thank God that FOX news is around so our voice does not get lost!

I'm reading in the P.D. that there are more pro America protestors in public square on a daily basis than the "Protest-a-day-til-the-war-stops" people.
A fireman friend of mine told me that some dingbat was downtown selling Osama t-shirts and a retired Marine walked up and punched him is the mush. When the salesman looked to a nearby Cleveland cop for help, the cop said, "What did you expect. This is Cleveland, Ohio"

What is missing in all media reports IMHO is the fact that these Fascist/Commie/Socialist/Evil Dums are demonstrating FOR Genocide, WMD,Torture, Starvation and Gold filled Palaces.Which is why the Fox coverage was so refreshing. The first thing I saw when turning on Fox this morning was Fox and Friends welcoming Fred Thompson and showing him footage of the protesters. He said they are protesting ON BEHALF of Saddam Hussein.
Indeed.

The "protestors" - COMMUNIST PROPAGANDISTS - are not worthy to untie the shoes of this sergeant!

In this morning's briefing I swear I heard him ask where General Franks was at and why he wasn't briefing.I missed it (they've moved CentCom briefings even earlier for us out in the west, we're missing it). But I can just imagine the question asked in a tone full of innuendo that Franks is afraid to face the media and their "probing" questions. Just guessing.

Fox News isn't considered "mainstream media"? Its owned by the same company that has put out such "quality programming" as "Married with children", "Celebrity Boxing", and "Who wants to marry a millionaire". Give me a break. Lets also not forget, the right to protest is exactly what those solders are fighting for. Just because we might not agree with there opinion, doesn't mean they should not be able to express it. And likewise I have the right to call these protesters marxist, communist, jobless leaches sucking on the teat of government. Furthermore, Fox News is trashing CNN in the ratings, and FOX is as much mainstream as CNN is. It is shameful that the media feels that they MUST put a negative spin on everything.

I guess even self-induced vomiting passes for 'free speech' these days.

Good grief! We all know they have a right to their "opinion", and we have the right, as does Fox, to MOCK it.!!!
Righteous!

It's frustrating when you can't get Fox. But isn't it good to know that as censored as they are in so many locations they still manage to blow the crap out of the other cable 'news' outlets?

You are correct...however, when that protest disrupts, interferes with, or harms others, it is no longer a legal protest. When an ambulance can't get through because these people won't let it, it is not a protest. When the police can't respond to other emergencies because these ninnies are turning violent and busting things up, it is not a protest. It is nothing more than vandalism, sabotage and quite possibly, manslaughter if someone dies because of their action.
