Have you heard anything about ABC pulling their main reporter (Stephie I would presume) from the briefings by CENTCOM since they don't provide any new information? I just received the question in an email!
In this morning's briefing I swear I heard him ask where General Franks was at and why he wasn't briefing. The General who was briefing told the "jerk" that General Franks was busy fighting the war.

In this morning's briefing I swear I heard him ask where General Franks was at and why he wasn't briefing.I missed it (they've moved CentCom briefings even earlier for us out in the west, we're missing it). But I can just imagine the question asked in a tone full of innuendo that Franks is afraid to face the media and their "probing" questions. Just guessing.

I presume the presscorp there knows if ABC News reporter has left the area. If it was Stephie, it doesn't surprise me that he wanted to go home where it's easier to get a good haircut and a stiff drink.
