Saddam Asks Uday-Led 'Heroic Fedayeen' To Strike 'Enemy' 'Everywhere'
Iraqi Satellite Channel Television in Arabic ^ | 03/25/2003 | Translated 03/26/2003 | Saddam Husayn

Mujahid leader President Saddam Husayn, may God watch over him, has addressed a letter to Saddam's heroic Fedayeen. Following is the text of the letter:

In the name of God, the merciful, the compassionate. And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in God. [Koranic verse]

To the men who carried the banner of jihad, which also carries our name. To Saddam's Fedayeen. Brothers and dear sons, led by your brother Uday, peace be upon you. The fedayeen had wished to meet the enemy to destroy it. The enemy has now come to you in your own house. It deployed in a way desired by every fighter who is armed with right against falsehood. The enemy has prolonged the lines of its transportation and advanced, scattering its capabilities on roads in the central Euphrates and in other known places in Iraq. Some of its convoys take roads that are not trodden by vehicles and tanks, except individually. The land prevents it from taking the shape of a fighting formation in other places. By God, it has come in a way that is better than the one for which we had wished, so as to inflict on it heavy losses and repulse it with defeat and humiliation.

Brothers and sons, remember that you are qualified to make sacrifices, that you are Saddam's Fedayeen, and sons of the lofty Iraq. Your activities and those of your brothers in the Armed Forces and the people have proved to us that one strike at two or four of its vehicles will force it to retreat. So, continue your strikes against this despotic cowardly enemy, rely on God, and be proud of Iraq and us.

By God, you, and the lofty men who have the same spirit of jihad, are the best to whom a chaste and faithful mother gave birth. Follow them and hit them wherever you find them. The decision they have made will humiliate them before God and humanity. Their action is despicable before he who remembers his oath, affiliation, the honor of faith he has, and his duty toward the homeland, nation, and people.

Fight them and hit them everywhere in accordance with the resolution you are known for and based on the current fighting of every lofty and honest person and a faithful and glorious woman in great Iraq, as well as based on the fighting of your brothers in our valiant army in the 11th Division in Al-Nasiriyah, and like what the heroic 45th Brigade did in Umm Qasr, similar to the action of the fedayeen and others in the Al-Zubayr sector and the axis of Abu al-Khasib. Attack them and let right triumph over falsehood. Remember that the accurate management and its method, prudence, and quality are now decisive in this holy battle and in every decisive battle, especially when good morale is available, and it is available, praise be to God. Make sure that our losses should be as small as possible and the enemy's losses as heavy as possible. The word that motivates sacrifices is a must these days, just as it has been under all circumstances. In fact, it is a greater must today than at any time before.

Son Uday, tell the fedayeen, after you convey my greetings to them, that every one of them should remember his words in front of you and in front of me, and recall his oath and pledge before God and the people. He also should remember his quality as an Iraqi, the son of the homeland, whose land is being violated by the enemy of God and the enemy of sanctities, zeal, and faith. He should remember that they [Saddam's Fedayeen] have carried the honor, name, and quality of a fedayee. Today is the day of sacrifice. May God, who sent His messenger Muhammad, protect them. Fight them and God will humiliate them and grant you victory. God will grant victory to your people and army against them. By God, the strikes of your army, your strikes, and the strikes of our great people will make them lose their senses and balance, just as they are losing them now in other sectors of operations. They will curse their luck because they were driven hysterically and blindly to where their devil told them to go.

Attack the enemy in various places, at various times, and with various methods day and night. Strike at the enemy's front and rear units, put it under fire day and night, and set ambushes for it in various places, at various times, and with renewable methods it does not expect. Set ambushes for its helicopters and attack them with the appropriate weapon and in front of the targets you expect it will attack, particularly in front of our armored forces and defensive positions. You will see, just as you have seen in other places, how the enemy will run away frightened and cursed.

The enemy has opted for advancing deep into our land. So, make the depth for which it has opted as small as our great people and every zealous fighter want. Make the spirit of sacrifice of every faithful and sincere person a burden to it, of which it cannot get rid except after it regrets and runs away to its country.

Fight them and hit them everywhere, O the pupil of the eye of Iraq. These are the days of the great victory, which is not awaited by the Iraqis only, but also by all good believers in the world. God is Great, God is Great, and may the decisive days and their meanings live long.

[Signed] Saddam Husayn, 22 Muharram 1424 Hegira (islamic calendar, corresponding to March 25 2003)

Now Saddam is the "Mujahid Leader"? And I'm somewhat confused over who, exactly, is in charge of the Fedayeen. I've heard reports that Uday was in charge, then his brother took over, and now Uday is in charge again? If Saddam is injured or dead, is Uday leading the effort now? It seems like his name keeps on coming up. I haven't seen any reports with Qusay's name in it for the past week.

worse than that whomever wrote this is "finding religion" in a hurry, for what was supposed to be a secular regime. Bottom line this sounds like a war plan more than anything else.

They will curse their luck because they were driven hysterically and blindly to where their devil told them to go.

Why would the devil want us to come when he already totally controlled you and all of your stinking, murderous, rapist lapdogs?

Isaiah 13

Proclamation Against Babylon

The Doom of Babylon Predicted

1 The burden against Babylon which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw.

2"Lift up a banner on the high mountain, Raise your voice to them; Wave your hand, that they may enter the gates of the nobles. 3I have commanded My sanctified ones; I have also called My mighty ones for My anger-- Those who rejoice in My exaltation."

4The noise of a multitude in the mountains, Like that of many people! A tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together! The LORD of hosts musters The army for battle. 5They come from a far country, From the end of heaven-- The LORD and His weapons of indignation, To destroy the whole land.

"In the name of God, the merciful, the compassionate. And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression.....

What manner of God do these bastards pray to?
A God that commands them to starve, murder and rape their own citizens.
A God that commands them to stand behind women and children to murder soldiers of true compassion?
A God that commands them to murder prisoners for Arab Street TV enjoyment?
If this is the God of Islam...it is an evil God..
If it is only some people that wrongly hear the word of God... then they are evil and should be killed.

What strategic acumen! A well thought out method! Complex, yet simple.

I have a feeling that if anyone died it may have been Qusay (and Saddam, perhaps). Things are starting to sound like Uday is leading the show over there. His name is coming up everywhere and the tone of what Saddam is saying now is certainly different from what he has said in the past, like somebody else is writing it.
