If Tom Monaghan still owned the company I think he'd make sure this guy was re-hired. I know I would.

I can think of a few franchisers who would never hire him back, and would probably go out of their way to smear him. The bottom line is more important.

Their product has really gone downhill, too.

I went and used vandal remover on a roadsign where the word "Iraq" was scribbled after "Do not Enter"

I was in my work uniform and on the company clock. Between the union and the public I'd like to see the company do something to me.

The guy deserved to be fired. He can say whatever he wants on his own time, but he was way out of line to go and lecture someone while he was wearing a company uniform.

"I don't blame Domino's Pizza for firing me. When they told me I was wearing my uniform at the time, I pretty much knew I was going to be fired," McKillop said. "As I walked up to the house, I didn't even know what I was going to say. They have the right to have signs in their yard. I still can't believe I did that."

Spoken like a true Conservative.

A Liberal would've already retained a lawyer and sued for Wrongful Termination.

Ditto Their pies used to be the best of the lot. Just like Godfathers, the bigger they got the less they were concerned with product quality.

I'm sorry...I don't have any sympathy for this guy. He took his action knowing he'd probably be fired, and knowing what he was doing was wrong.

And he said so himself, which impresses me. I knew he was a real conservative when I read that.

Good for him. (There's got to be a better job out there for him anyway. And oh yeah - who orders Dominos? Blecch!)

Sorry for the Pizza commentary - but dang, "Papa John's" Pizza. Good sauce, and in the box is a hot pepper and garlic butter to dip the crust in.... outstanding!

Ok, Dominos can fire him all they want, and their pizza will still be crap.

The big chains all peddle garbage now. I find locals that still make a great pizza and order from them.

Agreed, but where are all the DIxie-chick "free-speech should have no reprisals" bunch defending this fellow?

If they are going to missapply the constitutional principal with regard to the chicks, et al, they might at least do it consistently.

The employee was correct.

Your attitude explains why you don't own the company.

Too bad he doesn't live in California. I'd hire him in a second.

They closed the last Godfathers in my neck of the woods, (Kitsap Peninsula), several years ago. Mostly mom & pop operations over here now that produces a much better product, a little more costly however.

Their product has really gone downhill, too.

On the upside, if you are not home when they deliver, they can slide the pizza under your door.
