You'll think a blown knee is a cakewalk after you have a kidney stone pass. LOL. Hubby had that last year and he FOUND OUT what labor FEELS LIKE! Some of us in the family had a little laughfest over that.
Well, FRiend, I posted this on another thread, and I think it 'fits' here...
I hope SOMEONE can 'make a link'.

It's to a radio station call-in program. It's a statement made by a Viet-Nam vet. It will bring tears to those who listen. Totally AWESOME!!!
At first it will come through choppy, with all the web traffic/buffering. But 'stick it out', let it finish, then when it's 'done', hit the play arrow again, and the WHOLE statement will play uninterrupted.
God bless this man, ALL our vets and all those who are over in Irag.
BTW... At this same web site is a song by Dustin Evans, 'If I Should Die Before You Wake'. It's a free download. (you can find it by going to the 'homepage button' at the above 'vet statement') Alas, much web traffic made it hard to download. So I'll be trying later. This song is starting to get much airplay in SE Ohio. This guy wrote it in honor of our military personnel. (have your tissues ready, it's another tearjerker)
Catch ya later!!!

A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you The love of God enfold you The power of God protect you The presence of God watch over you Wherever you are,God is, And all is well. Amen.
.
Bless This House
Bless this house O Lord we pray;
Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout,
Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall,
Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove
ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright,
Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there,
with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within,
keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be
Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we
May dwell O Lord with thee.
.

"...a blown knee is a cakewalk after you have a kidney stone pass. LOL. Hubby had that last year and he FOUND OUT what labor FEELS LIKE!" LOL...I am sure you are correct, but I still relish the opportunity to razz the CanteenMamas!!
FReegards...MUD
BTW...actually, when I blew out my anterior cruciate ligament, it hurt like the dickens at the time of the injury, but since it was fully torn, it was more just unstable than excrutiatingly painful after the initial pain subsided.
