Of course Sean Astin played Sam. I'm terribly sorry for the mistake (I'm fighting a RAGING stomach flu and am high as a kite on a combination of Emetrol and Nyquil).

Regards,

"Fictious president...fictitious election...fictitious war for fictitious reasons... BLAH BLAH BLAH..."

LOTS of BOOOOING from the crowd......

Moore's opinion isn't unanimously held.

And "TWIN TOWERS" about 9-11 just won best documentary.

Interesting.

Be of good cheer -- in 20 years most movie characters will be computer-generated.

I look forward to hearing their predecessors whine.

I didn't hear the booing as I was too busy yelling "FU" at the screen. I would kick the crap out of him if I ever saw him but i'm disabled and it wouldn't be fair to Moore.

I saw some starlet (Nicole Kidman maybe) with her hands clasped together to keep from clapping(she's probably learned from Natalie Maines to keep her opinions to herself.

Yep, I said I wasn't going to watch, but I did-- and it was worth it. Michael Moore got a BIG, healthy "boo" for his "stolen election" remarks and his anti-war remarks. There are a few sane people amongst the Hollyweenies.

During that fat Marxist slob's acceptance speech, there were some noticable boos. Wonder if they were booing him or Bush???

Not to digress, but something I've always wondered about: how does one react when the person one likes criticizes an opponent or a policy, and we agree with that criticism? Do we cheer, or do we boo? On the one hand, cheering means we agree with the speaker. But could it be mistaken as support for what's being criticized? On the other hand, if we boo (because we dislike what is being criticized) do we risk being misinterpreted as being against the SPEAKER??

Bruce Villanch and Steve Martin were probably salivating for a comedic moment like that..
