In tribute to the Armed Forces today the participants will be mostly dressed in black and for the men business attire is encouraged.
Celebratory music has also been cancelled as well

This just seems so hypocritical. For what it was worth, my husband's unit (Army) had its annual ball last night and while some of the honors given were somber, most of the festivities were not. There were a few black dresses but a lot were more like our group below.
