(CBS) Ten U.S. soldiers were injured, six or seven of them seriously, in a grenade and small arms attack at Camp Pennsylvania in northern Kuwait, reports CBS News Correspondent Mark Strassmann, who is traveling with the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division.
Strassmann said the grenades were rolled into two commanders' tents at the camp. When officers ran from the tents, they were hit by small arms fire.
"From our reports it appears that a terrorist penetrated Camp Pennsylvania, one or more terrorists threw two hand grenades into a tent," said George Heath, spokesman at Fort Campbell, home base of the 101st.
Strassman said three suspects were being held for questioning, two Kuwaitis who served a translators and an American soldier described as a black Muslim.
The injured soldiers were rushed to a field hospital but military officials had no word on their conditions, Lt. Cmdr. Charles Owens said from Camp As Sayliyah in Qatar.
The military did not identify the unit of the 101st that was in the camp but said it had been in Kuwait for about one week. Most of the division has entered southern Iraq.
Separately, Strassmann reported, an Iraqi rocket fired at U.S. forces in Kuwait was destroyed by Patriot missiles launched from nearby Camp New Jersey.
The terror and missile attack came as the U.S. assault on Iraq gained steam. American and British forces besieged the southern city of Basra and pounded Baghdad with impunity. But tough fighting loomed for coalition troops as they pressed deeper into Iraq.

We could do one of two things;
1. We could fight all the radical Muslims.
2. We could fight all 800 million Muslims.
I have no problem any of with this.

What does that tell you about non-Islamic countries and their ability to stand up to aggression on this planet?then we can get to causes -- such as who is starting wars.
when germany fired up a little something a few decades ago, we defeated it: and we defeated the religion of nazism, too, such that it is illegal there to this day.

Pvt. Solvack (sp) was shot in WW2 for desertion I believe. Of course we can ask Martin Sheen, he played him in the movie.
Also believe he was last solder shot by military for that charge.

I don't thing our men and women in harm's way need to be watching their backs among their own ranks. Maybe this war is going to see a lot of fragging too (only this time, not of the officers.

The poll you quoted was taken in 9 Islamic states. I do not know which ones. It was not a US poll.
Your point was 90% of US muslims thought Israel was behind 9/11. The best you have been able to do is find something that said 6 in 10 of muslims in 9 selected Islamist states thought Israel was behind it.
You can think you made your point.
You didn't.

What were you going to say? !???!! (If it has naughty words, better use *****! :-)
Poor guy. He definitely needed a 'time out', but I hope he isn't permanently banned. I did a search on a few of his earlier posts,. and he seems OK...He just got, shall we say, carried away . (To put it mildly). I mean, that sort of language shouldn't have been dirceted at anyone, much less a Robinson-though that does add a little humor to the episode!

This is one isolated incident, it just proves we haven't tried hard enough at diversity.<> Heh. Heh. Ya almost had me, muckraker.

I don't see how 'black' is relevant in this situation. Muslim clearly is relevant, but I'm unclear why 'black' matters.Because if they are Arab-American, they might not really be heartfelt Muslims. They might be simply raised Muslim and classified Muslim the way I am classified Christian even though I haven't been inside a church in 15 years. But if they are Black Muslims, they likely converted as an adult, and are approaching Islam with a whole different mindset, perhaps a fanatical mindset. That's why it matters.

Oh.
Well if Sheikh Kabbani asserts it, it must be a fact. Silly me.

Here's the deal, as near as I can tell. Islam needs to go through a Reformation. Think back to the Spanish Inquisition. I was baptized Greek Orthodox, but raised Catholic in a strict Irish Catholic neighborhood. However, I'm still embarassed at what my Church did then. We were wrong, totally, completely, and utterly. The problem was not so much do to teachings as infiltration by evil (Godless) men, and lack of vigilance against internal evil. Islam needs to undergo this transformation. Don't ask me how this can come about, but they've progressed and degenerated to the point where it's a necessity. Just as we reformed Christianity instead of canning it, the Muslims need to do this as well. The difference is that the stakes are so high now that we're going to have to demand it. It's not swords and axes amymore, it's anthrax and thermonuclear weapons. They don't need to can their religion, but they need to undergo radical reform.

Thought I'd repeat for you a post I layed on the ATRW thread:
One can appreciate the Adminstration's stance on distinguishing the faith from the individual radicals. The problem is that the faith itself has failed to divest itself of the radicals. I don't know that the Episcopal or Baptist churches, etc., ever expelled the KKK from their ranks. Nor do I recall there ever being any confusion of them as being one in the same.
American Muslims have assumed the burden of proof for themselves by failing to expell the ideas that lead to the radicalism to which they say they have no connection. They want it both ways: no relation but consistency in theology. They must act, and they have failed to act. Solidarity with like-minded Muslims around the world is one thing; solidarity with any and all Muslims is quite another.
They owe us an apology.

Lying is cultural trait of Arabs Actually, it's a trait of the so-called religion they follow - It's founded on lies, invented by the master of all lies Satan himself. The Demon Mohammed was a direct "employee" of Satan. Enough said. And yes, I know that the "Christain" faith has had it's share of liars, but lying is not a part of Christian Theology...

He's probably well protected, and since he's injured needs to be taken to one of the med ships off shore....
Since most of the choppers, planes, and big ships are very occupied at this time,if they could fit it in, maybe the Navy Seals could help him get the attention he so desperately needs...

It's sad when you have to go to a foreign source like SkyNews to find out what's really happening with your own country's soldiers.

Given the horrific nature of the thread, a little humor is appreciated.

Dear Mr. Dead President,
Those who seek the truth will find it. They can begin with the Google link and all of the available articles on the subject. And they can enter different combinations of words for the search and find other articles on the web.
Truth always comes out even when it is being fogged over by defenders of al-Islam.
