Black Muslim US soldier is a suspect! ("10 U.S. Soldiers Hurt In Grenade Attack")

(CBS) Ten U.S. soldiers were injured, six or seven of them seriously, in a grenade and small arms attack at Camp Pennsylvania in northern Kuwait, reports CBS News Correspondent Mark Strassmann, who is traveling with the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division.

Strassmann said the grenades were rolled into two commanders' tents at the camp. When officers ran from the tents, they were hit by small arms fire.

"From our reports it appears that a terrorist penetrated Camp Pennsylvania, one or more terrorists threw two hand grenades into a tent," said George Heath, spokesman at Fort Campbell, home base of the 101st.

Strassman said three suspects were being held for questioning, two Kuwaitis who served a translators and an American soldier described as a black Muslim.

The injured soldiers were rushed to a field hospital but military officials had no word on their conditions, Lt. Cmdr. Charles Owens said from Camp As Sayliyah in Qatar.

The military did not identify the unit of the 101st that was in the camp but said it had been in Kuwait for about one week. Most of the division has entered southern Iraq.

Separately, Strassmann reported, an Iraqi rocket fired at U.S. forces in Kuwait was destroyed by Patriot missiles launched from nearby Camp New Jersey.

The terror and missile attack came as the U.S. assault on Iraq gained steam. American and British forces besieged the southern city of Basra and pounded Baghdad with impunity. But tough fighting loomed for coalition troops as they pressed deeper into Iraq.

Being that they are in places like Iraq and Afghanistan, I would say we are starting to do that. And it is a just fight.

Dear Mr. Dead President,

You would not believe it even if I cut and pasted document after document on this thread. You certainly haven't had enough time to review every single Google link, and so I judge that you really are playing games. You can now play with yourself.

We hear about all of the Muslims who abhor terrorist violence but we only hear about them from non-Muslim apologists. One reason Muslims are not more organized and vocal against the violence of their brethren is their own fear of being killed by those brethren.

Maybe I don't read enough newspapers or watch enough cable news, but you're right. I hear lots of Christians apologizing for Muslim violence and trying to explain away over-generalizations, but I rarely hear Muslims condemning their own.

And, I'm a defender of Muslims. But I'm not going to deny the truth.

We had a very few muslims in our unit in GW1 and heard at least one say he wouldn't fire on Iraqis. They believe this crap and I think it is a relevant part of the problem. Do you want that guy covering your back?

I'd rather have a Frenchman. Ack!

Sure.

But those aren't people in the US. Those are people in 9 Islamist countries (such as Iran, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, et al). I already knew they were nuts.

"These "lock up all the Muslims" morons will be fought tooth-and-nail by all decent conservatives. They are as much my enemy as the radical Muslims."

Look it wasn't a bunch of white Irish Catholic men who blew us up on 9/11, in the Khobar Towers, The U.S.S. Cole, the Marine barracks in Lebbanon, The Pan-Am flight over Scotland, killed a Marine LTC in Beriut, or shoved an elderly wheelchair bound man off a cruise ship. It was islamic Men that did those things. ALL of them SHOULD be under scrutiny. If a white man robs a store, the cops don't go looking for mexican-american males. Why should we treat Muslim men any different?

US networks have spiked fact that suspect is a muslim. UK network, SkyNews, has a detailed report that notes that he is an adherent to the "religion of peace" and that he had been "acting weird" for a few days.

Posted here.

Until we realize that Islam is a political system masked as a religion there is nothing that we can do. If we ever become enlightened we can then treat Islam as we would any other political system hostile to our way of life.

Its mutiny and assault on a superior officer in time of war, both of which can result in death by, hopefully, hanging.

I suspect that it went "unreported" in a few incidents - enemy fire if the officer was particularly unliked. That is certainly not the case here. Regardless, I'm not saying it was right; just pointing out that it happened a time or two.

>>>...a sumary courts martial...

A summary courts martial is limited to giving two weeks extra duty, one rank reduction, or one month's pay as a fine.

This would call for a General Court Martial.

Your talking apples and oranges.

France, Germany and Russia are operating in their own, disingenuous, duplicitous, self interest. They're making deals with the devil. That's a completely separate issue.

Qatar, UAE, etc, are only supporting us begrudingly. Or haven't you noticed how long it took to get the Saudis, etc, to "allow us" to use airbases their (that we spent the money to build), etc?

These Muslim nations are not our friends, they are helping us only in the most begrudging sense, and that's only because of our power.

Iraq is not a Islamist country. In fact, it's one of the msot Western Arab states in the region.

Try me. Find a reputable source for your information. You said it was a matter of record, so show the record.

Even if you can't convince me, you might convince someone else reading this thread.

Because if you can't find a reputable source to support your contention, then you can be damn sure people reading this thread will conclude you couldn't provide anything to support your contention.

I did not find anything to support your assertion that the majority of mosques in the US are Wahabbist and funded by Saudi Arabia.

I have heard with my own ears Sheikh Kabbani assert that as a fact when interviewed on Michael Savage's radio show.
