Black Muslim US soldier is a suspect! ("10 U.S. Soldiers Hurt In Grenade Attack")

(CBS) Ten U.S. soldiers were injured, six or seven of them seriously, in a grenade and small arms attack at Camp Pennsylvania in northern Kuwait, reports CBS News Correspondent Mark Strassmann, who is traveling with the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division.

Strassmann said the grenades were rolled into two commanders' tents at the camp. When officers ran from the tents, they were hit by small arms fire.

"From our reports it appears that a terrorist penetrated Camp Pennsylvania, one or more terrorists threw two hand grenades into a tent," said George Heath, spokesman at Fort Campbell, home base of the 101st.

Strassman said three suspects were being held for questioning, two Kuwaitis who served a translators and an American soldier described as a black Muslim.

The injured soldiers were rushed to a field hospital but military officials had no word on their conditions, Lt. Cmdr. Charles Owens said from Camp As Sayliyah in Qatar.

The military did not identify the unit of the 101st that was in the camp but said it had been in Kuwait for about one week. Most of the division has entered southern Iraq.

Separately, Strassmann reported, an Iraqi rocket fired at U.S. forces in Kuwait was destroyed by Patriot missiles launched from nearby Camp New Jersey.

The terror and missile attack came as the U.S. assault on Iraq gained steam. American and British forces besieged the southern city of Basra and pounded Baghdad with impunity. But tough fighting loomed for coalition troops as they pressed deeper into Iraq.

Why should you,me or anyone else apologize for anyone? It's the perp who should be apologizing. If the guy isn't sorry he did it, well what can people do? When Colin Fergueson shot up the LIRR, all I heard from black people (in between laughs) is that he's not american. How convenient. When the two guys went around shooting up Washington DC, the country of Jamaica bent over backwards apologizing. How is it that we never heard the people who should be apologizing DOING IT?!

I won't be holding my breath for NOI to issue any apology, or any legitimate muslim group. All NOI will say is that "chickens come home to roost".

But what about Lindh and the shoe bomber ---both white guys ---but Muslim. Black has nothing to do with this because Colin Powell is black and so are many of our solders who would die for this country.

I don't believe that they are willing to coexist in peace. Of course most of them aren't terrorists, and most aren't violent, but when's the last time someone from the KKK killed a black guy? Islam is anti-Jewish and anti-Christian just like the KKK is anti-black. Just because there are more Muslims then there are Christian Identity types doesn't make them more acceptable, it just makes them more dangerous.

I have a former Muslim in my Church, according to him American Muslims are just playing the game, and waiting for their time.

Muslims are an incredibly small perecentage of our military, do you think it is just a coincidence that this attack was done by a Muslim? Do you think that Muslim soldiers are more likely to stab us in the back than non-Muslim soldiers. If you were over there right now, would you feel safe with a Muslim in your unit?

I just remembered something else. Although I don't care for Spike Lee, his movie Malcolm X was very good and true to the book. Even in Malcom X's autobiography, he said what made him leave NOI was seeing white muslims and muslims of all shades. I believe if Elijah Muhammed and Farrakhan didn't shoot him, he would have eventually abandoned his views. I've been told by black muslims and white muslims that islam doesn't emasculate men the way Xianity does. That's another thread I guess.
