That's would be awesome!
I recently burned a CD for my husband to share with his buddies over there that includes lots of patriotic stuff, "In the Navy" (as a joke--he hates it!) and "Rock the Casbah", "You Shook me all Night Long", etc.... Ironically, he received the package Monday.

Is it just me, or is that we are "fighting" in a respectable manner? Maybe it's the straw I'm looking through.....

**Carl Cameron on now. Re the 6 Iraqis...toxic chemicals require temp. control meaning possibly radiological or chemical. Possibly brought in by coyotes. Info scant and classified. **
Oh my...
To: azGOPgal
Hi, az. see post 815.
To: TenthAmendmentChampion
Coyotes bring illegals across the desert for money. Sometimes they abandon them in the desert. They are scum of the worst kind. How naive of me! "Coyote" is a reference to a person. I didnt think they could be riding in on coyotes LOL!

Hey, mama. Thanks for pointing that out. I probably would have missed it in my quick skimming today.
gal, I'm with you on that one. I hope they catch those 6 Iraqis before they cause any damage. Did you hear that the nuclear plant in Yuma might be a possible target?

Yes, I did hear about that, az. heavy sigh. My brother in law works at the nuke plant on the California coast (SCE). Talk about security!
To: Maigrey
ah, I missed it, what do you mean exactly?
To: homeschool mama
My dad works at SCE power plant in Laughlin NV. And we're fairly close to the Hoover Dam. When I came home last Friday for spring break, I noticed new road signs that said "Emergeny Evacuation Route." It really is kinda scary when you start putting everything together.

We live in a 'different world' now. :o(
To: homeschool mama
We definately do. Sometimes I'd give anything to go back a few years when I was just a carefree little kid riding my bike and building forts with the kids down the street. We can't go back, so we can only hope to make the future better.

Well, it seems that, if we wanted to be a really, really mean and nasty and really blow them to h***. Instead, we, as another FReeper pointed out, we are targeting the military locations and trying to use personal diplomacy with the military to spare lives. I doubt that we would have had the capabilities and possibilities in previous engagements, but now that we do, we are using the technology to our vantage, and trying our best to limit destruction and devestation for the innocents. (as evinced by "keeping the lights on" in baghdad.)

I hadn't heard about the Yuma plant. I kept hearing yessterday about Palo Verde, though.
Good to see you, BTW.
To: BureaucratusMaximus
I started to explain "coyotes", but was in a hurry...sorry,lol.
I figured someone would ask but I dissappeared over to the thread specifically addressing this. Remember me :)? Smiley face girl. LOL

You're right. It was the Palo Verde plant. For some reason, I had Yuma on the mind.
Good to see you too.

*L* I didn't get to see much of it as it was happening today (was babysitting). Which building was hit with that one bomb (this clip was played over and over again earlier) that was so bad the screen goes white then you see that big cloud rise up? That one was AWESOME.
As for your Super Bowl question...there are those who do go wild there. My time of year is now, March Madness and the NCAA tourney (GO UofK)

I still don't get it! What do you mean? I thought we were talking about securing the borders to prevent terrorists attacks???? Did I miss something?
To: countrydummy
I hadn't touched on the securing of boarders to prevent terrorist attacks. I'll be happy to talk about it, if you so wish...
