They're digging their own political graves. They might just be joining the Baath party (in obscurity). Ain't gonna happen, Sam. Guarandamntee ya they're all neo-bolsheviks of the "Progressive" Caucus, securely ensconced in safely gerrymandered districts where, with rare exceptions like Jihad Cindy McKinney, they can get reelected until they die. Or even after they're dead, like Patsy Mink.

How could it be hung up? Just take the vote and pass it. Are there 'pubs against it? This makes no sense.

My exact thought - this would be those well-known foreign policy and military experts, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Stark etal.
I wonder if it hurts to have so much hate in ones heart?

"Are they NUTS? How do these morons find constituents?" Why, they go to the nearest intersection and pull them up off the pavement by their human chain!!!!
You brought tears to my eyes ! Now that was funny ! and, I'm sure, pretty darn accurate

I would love for Tom DeLay to get up on the floor, during prime time, and tell those demorats that oppose the resolution that they can sponsor their own resolution without the objectionable language ONLY if they do it in French.

How could it be hung up?
They're probably trying for a unanimous vote.

As ridiculous as this is, what's more ridiculous is whose brilliant idea was it that we needed a RESOLUTION to affirm appreciation for the commander-in-chief and the troops? I find this unbelievably insulting that these government jerks feel that they have to pass a resolution to tell us all how to feel. This is bull$hit political posturing - note the main quoted voice in the press was Daschle. This resolution is a huge nothing but a sound bite and press posturing. At least it didn't cost us any money. Your government at work.
To: TexasGunLover
The Republicans should bring this up for a vote again and again.
Just to illustrate what many of us already know...
To: Cyber Liberty
That's hysterical. Forbidden weapons are raining down on our soldiers, and they can't see a problem with that. Blix Syndrome -- causes massive delusion coupled with short-sightedness.

I am a Democrat who totally supports President Bush regarding Iraq. I also support all the troops and Tony Blair. Other dems who agree with me should speak out.

I don't know, but they were unavailable when the vote was taken. I'ts the HOUSE that's got a problem with material breach. As stated before, WHO CARES??? I think whenever you use the word 'resolution', whether it be ours or one from the UN, it spells 'instantly irrelevant'. Again, what political
cr@p.

Your pictures are so powerful. A good reminder of what happens if we do nothing.

Helicopter crashes in Kuwaitt 16 dead who would not be if we had not gone to war
To: starmixer
You can't say that. There are training accidents everyday. The fact is how many would be dead in the coming days, months, and years if we didn't eliminate these criminals like OBL and Saddam.

This is not what I heard (believe MSNBC but could have been FOX). I heard dems are holding this up because it had a clause in support of the Commander-in-Chief! They said the dems don't want to go on record supporting Bush' war etc
