As ridiculous as this is, what's more ridiculous is whose brilliant idea was it that we needed a RESOLUTION to affirm appreciation for the commander-in-chief and the troops? I find this unbelievably insulting that these government jerks feel that they have to pass a resolution to tell us all how to feel. This is bull$hit political posturing - note the main quoted voice in the press was Daschle. This resolution is a huge nothing but a sound bite and press posturing. At least it didn't cost us any money. Your government at work.

YOU honestly do NOT understand this.....I don't think they are telling "us all how to feel." They are trying to smoke out the DEMS and make THEM tell us how THEY feel. Valuable for constituents and for future political campaigns.
