The "most trusted man in America," retired CBS Evening News anchor Walter Cronkite, put aside his journalistic impartiality Tuesday night and issued a blistering dissent to President Bush's decision to wage war with Iraq. Most trusted man in America?
Journalistic impartiality?
Words fail me.

Oh, so he's going to support the troups after he tells them they shouldn't be confident about their circumstances. What a dink.

Government and Media need to have the decks cleared of all these entrenched martyr worshipers from the Kennedy-era.
The sooner the better.

They, liberals, are becoming funnier by the minute. If this war goes well they will be out of power for the next 20+ yrs.

His remarks are out of line but I didn't find where he said "the United States should be humbled". Your headline is a little disingenuous.

Words - almost - fail me. If he really said the U.S. needs to be humbled, then I say he is a decrepit old bastard. I would want to ask him something. Say Walter, do you go to sleep at night happily dreaming of thousands of body bags of U.S. soldiers and joyfully hoping you can again predict that we cannot win the war? And exactly how many body bags of American kids will it take to make you and your fellow leftist scum happy?

Walter Cronkite has long been my personal candidate for
MOST UNDESERVED POSITIVE REPUTATION
for at least the last quarter-century.
He's a vicious, ignoant, Christophobic man.

I always knew he secretly hated the USA and wanted only harm to come to us and our brave servicemen in Vietnam. I always felt he perked up insanely cheerfully at reports of American dead in Vietnam.
The traitor and Clinton worshipper finally has revealed his true, evil nature.
The only people who need to be humbled (and utterly destroyed) are those enemies of America, the vermin, lawyer-infested democrats.

What do we expect?

Hillary Clinton seated next to Walter Cronkite, the former star of CBS, at the helm of his yacht Wyntje.

Cronkite throws support behind Hussein: "The U.S. needs to be humbled" says the aged celebrity. You know O.C., if the article doesnt say it, FReepers shouldnt say that it does. Can you show anyone where Cronkite suggests that he supports Hussein, as you imply, or, where he is ACTUALLY QUOTED as saying that the US needs to be humbled, like you actually attibuted in quotation marks? Or are you just some noob disruptor?
Mod, please change the headline to its original, unless O.C. can come up with some evidence beyond the link he posted. Thank you...JFK
