Government and Media need to have the decks cleared of all these entrenched martyr worshipers from the Kennedy-era.
The sooner the better.

He said that the smartest president he ever met was Jimmy Carter. Time to put a ID tag on this old fart, and put him on the bus to the dog track!

The enemy is within! And they are talking heads and many of the elected democrats! My thoughts exactly, TLBSHOW! Here's what I just posted on another thread about the traitor-Daschle and that disgusting statement he made the other day about the President:
"As far as Daschle's comments (then and now)....he said exactly what he meant to say...he knew it would get BROAD coverage...he intended to inflict a verbal wound on the President. Because? ... Well, I'm convinced he despises/hates this president and what he stands for. He, and by default, the Clintons, et al., leftist/liberals, etc. despise that they are not in power. They are the true enemies of America, and I fear where we are headed, especially if they ever get back in power. God help us.

Walter Cronkite is the real life version of Ted Baxter. A terminally conceited, empty-headed reporter whose only skill was to look good on TV.

They, liberals, are becoming funnier by the minute. If this war goes well they will be out of power for the next 20+ yrs.

His remarks are out of line but I didn't find where he said "the United States should be humbled". Your headline is a little disingenuous.

I nominate Sean Penn. Dixie Chick stuff is too light. Need to keep the list to real aid and comfort of the enemy. Can't remember the representatives from congress that went to Iraq and kissed the ring.

Words - almost - fail me. If he really said the U.S. needs to be humbled, then I say he is a decrepit old bastard. I would want to ask him something. Say Walter, do you go to sleep at night happily dreaming of thousands of body bags of U.S. soldiers and joyfully hoping you can again predict that we cannot win the war? And exactly how many body bags of American kids will it take to make you and your fellow leftist scum happy?

Walter Cronkite has long been my personal candidate for
MOST UNDESERVED POSITIVE REPUTATION
for at least the last quarter-century.
He's a vicious, ignoant, Christophobic man.

I think Carter is very smart, educated and all that, just doesn't have any sense.

If he wants to use his freedom of speech, he should be forced to stand on a box at the corner of his street like the rest of us!
Freedom of the Press this ain't, as I don't see the counter-point!

The mask is off. That's good news.

I always knew he secretly hated the USA and wanted only harm to come to us and our brave servicemen in Vietnam. I always felt he perked up insanely cheerfully at reports of American dead in Vietnam.
The traitor and Clinton worshipper finally has revealed his true, evil nature.
The only people who need to be humbled (and utterly destroyed) are those enemies of America, the vermin, lawyer-infested democrats.

    What do we expect?

Hillary Clinton seated next to Walter Cronkite, the former star of CBS, at the helm of his yacht Wyntje.

That's a bit of overkill; let's bring the TASM out of retirement and go for a LOT of overkill :-)

Cronkite throws support behind Hussein: "The U.S. needs to be humbled" says the aged celebrity. You know O.C., if the article doesnt say it, FReepers shouldnt say that it does. Can you show anyone where Cronkite suggests that he supports Hussein, as you imply, or, where he is ACTUALLY QUOTED as saying that the US needs to be humbled, like you actually attibuted in quotation marks? Or are you just some noob disruptor?
Mod, please change the headline to its original, unless O.C. can come up with some evidence beyond the link he posted. Thank you...JFK
