Good friend of the clintons - used to go sailing with them at Martha's Vineyard.

Walter is a traitor to this country, the troops and the American people. Please leave the USA, Walter. We don't want you here.

HE was certainly humbled when he provided the commentary for John Glenn's space flight a couple of years ago. A third grader would have done a better job and certainly spoken with more clarity than did Cronkite.

Cronkite began by discussing one of his journalistic high points, reviewing the D-Day invasion with President Eisenhower in Normandy. I'm surprised he didnt tip off Hitler after his meeting.
In response to a question about media bias, Cronkite said the press is not politically partisan but does tilt toward liberalism. He said that the smartest president he ever met was Jimmy Carter.
Kinda sums it all up, don't it?

The "most trusted man in America," retired CBS Evening News anchor Walter Cronkite, put aside his journalistic impartiality Tuesday night and issued a blistering dissent to President Bush's decision to wage war with Iraq. Most trusted man in America?
Journalistic impartiality?
Words fail me.

Walter has been left for so long, he cannot see America in the middle. I count crap like he's spewing now as nothing short of sedition, served up in service of his leftist friends of the democrat party. Remember when "And that's the way it is ..." was a comfortable affrimation that things were under control? He is now a write-off, spewing America bashing that fosters division and bitterness, on purpose. Walter 'the crack pot' Cronkite. You know the left tries to characterize this as freedom to speak, but it is just the democrat party trying to prevent the American people fromsupporting their troops and their president.
