Fox and Friends this morning. Liberals Lookout!

Liberals lookout! On Fox and Friends you've got Doocy, Donahey, and Kilmeade all together again this morning! It was quite a great show!
At one point, E.D. was talking about Al-Queda targeting the Oscars. It almost sounded like she was attempting to goad Al-Queda into bombing the Oscars! Then Doocy responded "Al Queda wouldn't bomb the Oscars because they have too many sympathizers there"
Kilmeade responded by saying he thought Al Queda really doesn't care who they bomb, just as long as they bomb somebody.
Bill Bennet was on, and Kilmeade read the quotes from Tom Dashle in 1998, and then quotes from yesterday which showed the blatant flip flop by Daschle. "Daschle urges others not to play partisan politics, but then flip flops so easily on matters of life and death" Kilmeade said. The conversation drifted to flip flops made by Bill Clinton, and Bennet said that Alexander Hamilton once said ex-presidents should move to Europe. Bennet then said "For God Sakes, Bill Clinton should just get out! Get out Now!"
Then later O'Reilly was on, and towards the end of the interview Kilmeade asked O'Reilly..."Can we hang out together some time?"
O'Reilly responded by saying..."I don't think so"
By the way O'Reilly was on Good Morning America, and debated Charlie Gibson on Iraq. Charlie tried to trick O'Reilly. Charlie said..
"Bill if you had a close personal friend who was about to have an abortion would you try and stop them, because you hate abortions" Gibson was obviously trying to compare that with the France situation.
O'Reilly responded
"Of course not thats a personal decision!"
Anyways as always Fox and Friends was an awesome show!

- Spoken like the true weasel O'Reilly is. No problem in killing an unborn child - that's a personal decision.
I can't see why he continues to be so prominent - guess perhaps he was one of the first willing to speak plainly on national TV.

Thanks. I miss her incisive intelligence and ability. She is one of the smartest and best on Fox. She can filet a hypocritical liberal in one minute.
To: txzman
O'Reilly is really big on "personal decisions". If you notice, one of the reasons he is so against the homosexual agenda is for no other reason than he thinks sexuality is to be private and gays don't seem capable of that.
And no matter what he says, if he had a close friend having an abortion, I can't imagine he would keep his mouth shut. He IS somewhat! opinionated, and certainly not reticent. His idea of being pushy about such a subject is probably different than most peoples. Of course, I'm just guessing, I don't know his true character.

I do miss Linda Vester and wonder when she's coming back, if at all. She has extensive knowledge/experience on the Middle East, doesn't she?
To: homeschool mama
Most definitely, she is very good at her job. And, she is knowledgeable. She'll come back, I'm sure.

From the FOX site:
Linda Vester
Linda Vester serves as anchor of the 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET portion of Fox News Live, the network's daytime hard news programming.
Prior to joining Fox News, Vester was an anchor and correspondent for NBC as well as host of Today in America on MSNBC.
As a correspondent for NBC, Vester covered major news events including the crash of TWA Flight 800, the Olympic Park bombing, the Montana Freeman standoff, and the Rwandan war. As a reporter for WFLA-TV (NBC) in Tampa, Fla., she was sent to the Persian Gulf to cover Operation Desert Storm.
A graduate of Boston University with a degree in Journalism, Vester also earned an honors diploma from the Sorbonne in France, and was a Fulbright Scholar of Middle East affairs based in Egypt.

Excellent qualifications... I do kind of miss her. She asks excellent questions. Rita Cosby is growing on me. Saw an interview where Rita was questioning an Ambassador of the Arab League. She was kind of soft-balling him. And, Sean Hannity called in, to really question the ambassador brilliantly. I don't think Rita minded, though. Fox is great. I don't know what we ever did before Fox.

Linda had a baby named Meredith. She is on maternity leave. Thanks for that info. I'd hoped it was something like that. I was so concerned I went into the Fox site yesterday to see if she was still on the employee biography roster. She was/is. Good news -- she's not the best Fox reporter, just one of the best. I can't think of a really bad one.

In talking with my sister this evening I learned she watches CNN........................she now watches FOX.
To: homeschool mama
Good news! Your sister will grow to love FOX, soon. And, in the not-too-distant future, she may moan about the arrogance of O'Reilley, think that Doocey is a little silly, and find Hannity brillant! :)
