LACI PETERSON CASE
LACI PETERSON CASE
Bay search suspended
Searchers in the Laci Peterson case returned to the San Francisco Bay on Monday morning, but the boats were pulled off the water by early afternoon because of high winds and choppy water. "It was pretty touchy out there," said Detective Doug Ridenour, spokesman for the Modesto Police Department. Investigators have been searching the area near Brooks Island since last week, but windy weather has hampered efforts since Thursday. Laci Peterson was reported missing Dec. 24. Her husband, Scott Peterson, said he was fishing off Brooks Island that day. Scott Peterson is not a suspect, nor has he been cleared in the case, which police are now classifying as a homicide investigation.
an opinion piece:
Left heavy-hearted
Left heavy-hearted
It was with heartfelt grief I read that the police now believe Laci Peterson is deceased. A life filled with promise gone from the earth.
Her family's sorrow must know no bounds. It is my hope they find peace in knowing that if their child has passed from this life, she will be safe in the arms of the Lord forever.
Law enforcement officials have shown great compassion for Peterson and her family. My family will pray the perpetrator of this evil will be caught and justice will be served.
This case has touched the lives of many across the nation, and our thoughts and prayers will be with Laci's family until this is resolved.

Body found after car fire put out in orchard

(Published Friday, March 7, 2003, 9:23 AM)
A body was found Thursday inside a burning car in an orchard near Parlier, but sheriff's officials said they could not determine the cause of death.
The victim apparently drove into the orchard about 3:30 p.m. from an area near South Avenue and continued north along an asphalt and dirt road.
It will be up to Fresno County coroner's investigators to determine whether the death was suicide, homicide or an auto accident.
The call came in as a vehicle fire in an orchard. But after Fresno County firefighters extinguished the blaze about 4 p.m., they found the victim dead in the driver's side of the vehicle.
The car, believed to be a late-1980s Ford Taurus, was found 50 to 60 feet west of the dirt and asphalt road, among rows of trimmed fruit trees between Zediker and Riverbend roads.

Just heard radio news report of the charges filed against Manny & Beast. Among the charges- Aggravated kidnap, sexual assault. Scumbag forced that poor child to walk 4 miles to concealed campsite, forced her to disrobe and proceeded to rape her. At times he had her tied up and threatened to kill her family!
Pieces of $HIT!!!

the guy they put in PRISON for the SMART thingRead the facts. He was not put in prison for the "Smart Thing", he was put back in prison for violating his parole.
He was involved in several thefts/burgleries, breaking and entering, bank robberies, drinking etc...
Nobody put Ricci in prison but himself.

More LEO BS...so he got drunk, violated his parole and the LEOs think 'case closed'.
On O'Riely, a D.C. Detective spoke openly about LEO tunnel vision...and said that after Ricci's death, they assumed Elizabeth was dead!
All the while, 'Emmanuel' is parading his trophy BRIDE by CAPTURE right through the neighborhood, and Emmanuel is attempting to increase the Harem!
Like I say, you an't write fiction stranger than this!!
LOL!!

I am avidly watching for the jury to return in the Koklich case in Norwalk, CA (Long Beach real estate agent who allegedly killed his wife with no body ever found). They went to the judge yesterday and announced a deadlock. The judge talked to the individual jurors and found that he believed they could reach a verdict and sent them back in.
This case could prove a good precedent for putting Peterson on trial so I am hoping for a guilty verdict.
The always punctual and responsible Jana Carpenter Koklich (the daughter of CA politician - what was he again - Carpenter) did not return calls one weekend, and missed two dates with her mom and personal trainer. Some of the calls were from her mother, increasingly worried about Jana's not showing for their movie date. She worked in her husband's real estate office but never showed on Monday. Her car was eventually found in a garage somewhere, with small amounts of her blood and I believe her purse in it. Blood was found in their bedroom and the sheets the maid had put on the bed the day before were missing.
Hubby said that they had wanted to spend a quiet weekend, just the two of them, "vegging out," and that Jana had gotten up early Monday morning and left for work as normal, and never got there.
Oh, and the "grieving husband" took his 18-yr-old niece into his home a month after his wife went missing and got her drunk and repeatedly propositioned her for sex. He has also confessed to using prostitutes regularly during his marriage.
I'll let you guys know what the jury comes back with. They had only deliberated 7 hours before coming out deadlocked.

Thanks for the update on the Koklich trial; her dad was Paul Carpenter (Paul had some dirty dealings of his own and had to 'retire from congress, didn't he? Oh well, that's a whole other story!). Paul died from cancer, if I recall, about 1 week before his son-in-law was arrested.
Ok, someone needs to find out where Scott is hanging out, place an undercover female equipped with hidden sound equipment, and have her slip something in his drink. Then ask him where he took the body...

Anyone who believes a 14 year old girl after being kidnapped form her bed at knifepoint, would willingly "marry" a ugly, insane, homeless bum does not remember their own youth. At 14 I was crazy over the boy rock bands and makeup & nail polish. If what Jackie-O,heard on the radio report is true, this poor girl was marched for miles, stripped, tied, raped and made to wear a polygamist veil. There is no doubt in my mind something snapped. May there be justice and these two kidnappers of ES, be put away for life.

whats scary here is that scott probably thinks he's so damn clever that if he does take a walk on this he'll move somewhere way far away and i wouldnt be a bit surprised if he did something like this again after all LE couldnt snag him on the Laci case, so why not try the scenerio again?
im not saying that he has a plan but if you dont caught the first time,it only emboldens one to do it again.
I was also reading on anthor forum about two killings in Arizona during the time that scott was in that state ,if i find the story again i'll copy it over here. pretty creepy if you ask me.

Thanks as usual for the ping, runningbear.
Although the impending war has dominated everyones mind, we want the Rochas to know that Laci and Connor has not been forgotten and is still in our daily prayers and desire for the perpetrator to be arrested and brought to justice.

Look, she is worm food and NO, hubby had nothing to do with it!!
Your choice of words in this matter are so crude, I sure hope nothing like this ever happens to you. And how do you know Laci's husband had nothing to do with her disappearance, were you there or was he with you?

Thanks for the run-down on the case. I haven't followed that one at all. What is with these narcissistic, imbecile "grieving husbands", that they can't even pretend to grieve for a day?
