Members of the Progressive [read Communist and/or Socialist] caucus in Congress ought to be banned from holding office!

Mr. Conyers...
You can't possibly be thinking of bringing impeachment charges against President Bush. What are your grounds? The congress GAVE President Bush all the authority he needs to wage war, or I guess the politically correct term these days is 'conflict'. And actually, if you read the wars power act, the President can wage war for 90 days without any permission from Congress whatsoever!
Besides that, please take a moment to read the cease fire agreement that was signed with Saddam 12 years ago. Saddam has NOT done one thing that he agreed to in writing to do. If the President wants to, he can legally and with just cause end the cease fire, since Saddam is in breach of the agreement. But the way it sounds, you would back Saddam over President Bush. So be it, the constitution gives even congressmen the right to be a fool in public.
But, if the democrats want to make fools of themselves and show that they won't stand up for this nation, please be my guest. I, for one, have learned in the last year in a half...I will never vote for a democrat again, ever. And it is the very actions of democrats like you that have helped me make that decision.

I would hope that this could be construed as treason or sedition.

I just called and the woman I spoke with asked where I heard this. She told me He IS NOT seeking impeachment.
I said, "Oh, I guess thousands of irate people had an effect on his thinking"

I just sent him my message, via the "express route" from his web site, which I can use since I live in his district.
Since I'm a constituent, I expect a quicker and fuller response than those given to his non-constituents (at least that's what he says is his policy).

That's what happens when you have a commie in a safe district.

Conyers is as dense as a Frenchman.

This will happen just after Rangels draft is instated. Another deperate cry for attention.
To: mandingo republican
I suggest we do call his office and tell him what an idiot he is. In fact, I'm going to do just that right now.

Someone needs to draft something to get Conyers impeached - or whatever you do to get rid of an idiot member of congress.
What a maroon.

Conyers also stated he realized this "impeachment process" wasn't going to go anywhere; but
"could be used by the Anti-war demonstrators" in their protests..a little fuel to feed the fire.

The headline

The text
"House Judiciary ranking member John Conyers (D-Mich.) assembled more then...."
The picture caption
"Rep. John Conyers was the only Member to meet with a pair of activists encouraging..."
This whole story is weird..

Any serious attempts to get this impeachment off the ground could set off another civil war!
