The Enemy is Not Stupid, but Evil

Back in 1998, I participated on FR under the screen name laz. I was here all throughout the impeachment of Klintoon and the Kosovo War. Older FReepers may remember me from the nearly 200 parodies of Beatles songs that I posted during that time, and from the website I ran that was called Sgt. Bubba's Lonely Hearts Club Band. After the Kosovo War, I dropped out of sight for personal reasons, but although I haven't participated since then, I have lurked from time to time since the 2000 election fiasco and up until today. Many times, I have burned to say something, but I have refrained from expressing myself because there is so much I want to say that I would set my keyboard on fire if I did. So I have lurked and kept my thoughts to myself. But something has been nagging at me for quite a while, so much so that I feel the need to speak now and get it all off my chest.

Many times, I have seen FReepers call our enemies on the Left stupid. The inability for the Left to grasp simple and apparent truth has been diagnosed as stupidity, as a mental deficiency. This is an oversimplification of the probelm, and a very dangerous mistake to make. Diagnosing someone as stupid means that the person unable to understand the truth is innocent and naive and uninformed, and that they can eventually be made to understand the truth if it is explained to them enough times. When it comes to people who are truly stupid, this is, in fact, the case. If whatever they don't understand is drummed into their heads sufficiently, if the dots are connected for them over and over again, if the picture is drawn for them in slow motion and in every detail, eventually the light bulb will pop up over their heads and they'll "get it". But experience has shown us that this is not the case with the Left. The Left cannot be convinced of the truth. The Left cannot be made to understand. The more you explain it to them, the more they reject it. Push hard enough, and they'll become hysterical in their determination NOT to accept or understand it. This puts the lie to the notion that they are stupid or naive or clueless, because it is possible to eventually make a stupid person understand. Eventually, you can reduce the truth to a bare simplicity that even a fool can finally comprehend. But it is not possible to convince someone who is OPPOSED to the truth, because the more you explain it to them, the angrier they get and the more they reject it. And make no mistake, the Left is OPPOSED to the truth, because to them, the opposite of truth is what is true.

Don't underestimate the enemy and, in so doing, make yourself vulnerable to their machinations. To defeat any enemy, you must know exactly what they are. The enemy is not stupid. In fact, it is quite shrewd and quite clever. What the enemy is, is evil. The Left has a moral compass which is completely upside down. They are what the Bible calls "those who call evil good and good evil". In every situation, they adopt the stance which is wrong. They accuse the innocent and excuse the guilty. They condemn victims and applaud their murderers. They see the good guy as the bad guy and the bad guy as the good guy. If they wrote out their own Ten Commandments, it would be an exact duplicate of the ones in the Bible except for the ommision of the word "not" from the phrase "Thou shalt not". The Left represents the spirit of Satan on earth, the spirit of the Antichrist. Its goal is to wage war against the Gospel of Christ; to erase all trace and influence of the Truth from the earth; to promote all manner of false doctrines and lies in opposition to the Truth; to convert weak believers of the Truth into apostates; and to exterminate true believers who will not yield. To these ends, the spirit of the Antichrist has infiltrated its agents into every aspect of human society which possesses the ability to push forth this agenda: government; education; media; and even the church itself. No organization on earth which can push this agenda forward has been left untouched, and every one of these organizations has been utterly compromised by this cancer. Every one of these organizations is permeated top to bottom by those whose allegiance is to Satan, by those who have rejected God like a teenager who runs away from home and chooses to believe the lies of the street-corner pimp and the drug dealer instead of his parents.

Leading all of these demonically infiltrated organizations is the UN. The UN itself is the throne of Satan on earth, the headquarters of the powers of the air, from which he directs his legions of warriors in the form of the global Left. At this time in history, God has raised up George W. Bush as His sword to slay this Beast and cut off the head of this dragon... and this is precisely why the entire global Left, the legions whose sole purpose is to wage unrelenting war against the Truth, are howling in frenzied, outraged protest. The motivations of the Left's opposition to war in Iraq are like an onion, and you can peel away the various layers. Anti-americanism, based on jealousy and resentment, is simply one of the outer layers, and as you continue peeling and get closer and closer to the core, the motivations become more basic and more sinister. At the very core of the Left, what one finds is pure hatred of God -- which is what Satan is. Directly above this core is pure hatred of Isreal, for the sole reason that Israel is the center of God's plan which Satan wishes to sabotage. From this hatred of Israel comes hatred of America, for the sole reason that America was raised up by God to protect Israel. When the Left looks at George W. Bush, they hate him with every fiber of their being not only because he is a conservative and a Republican. They hate him because they know, by instinct, that he is God's instrument in this current war against their master Satan. They hate him because Satan hates God. And they love Saddam Hussein because Hussein is Satan's sword to destroy Israel. Every excuse for opposing the war in Iraq that comes out of the Left's mouth is an outright lie, every single one. The SOLE reason they oppose war is because if Hussein is destroyed, Israel gets some extra time to exist. It is Hussein's goal to hit Israel with WMD and destroy it, because he is Satan's puppet, and every leftist on the planet has been mobilized by their puppeteer to do absolutely everything they possibly can to help Hussein survive long enough to take his shot. That is it, in a nutshell. The Beast's current plan is to destroy Israel via Hussein. And like a lawless mob trying to push back the police so the police cannot move in to arrest or kill an armed and barricaded criminal, the Left is running interference for the Beast by trying to block the US and its allies from disarming and removing Hussein. In a standoff situation between the police and the armed and barricaded criminal, the Left does not want the criminal to drop his gun and come out with his hands up, and they do not want the police to move in to arrest or kill him because of his refusal to drop his gun and come out with his hands up. The Left wants the police to withdraw and allow the criminal to remain at large, armed and dangerous, so that he can commit the crime he has planned. This is what they call "peace" -- the surrender of good and the triumph of evil.

What is the ultimate goal of this Beast? Quite simply, it is to prevent the Kingdom of Heaven from being established on this earth, and to build in its place the kingdom of Satan. When Christ offered human beings invitation to the Kingdom of Heaven, He spelled out the requirement: Repent, and believe the Truth, and the Truth shall set you free. In his attempt to usurp Christ's kingship, Satan offers mankind a counterproposal: Submit, and be deceived by the Lie, and the Lie shall forever enslave you. And so, everyone on the Left who hates God and rejects the Truth accepts Satan's counterproposal. Instead of accepting membership in the Kingdom of Heaven, they wish to create a man-made utopia in the form of an atheist, secular humanist, socialist worker's paradise. And this man-made utopia is simply the subjugation of mankind to Satan, absolutely nothing else.

God will slay this current manifestation of Beast called the UN, through his instrument George W. Bush. However, that will not be the death of the Beast. It will slink away and lick its wounds, just as it has each and every time God has raised up His instruments to beat it back. The Beast has attempted to subjugate all of mankind several times throughout history, wearing various disguises such as fascism, communism, and totalitarianism. Each time, it has been beaten back by men chosen by God to beat it back. And each time, it has taken time out to regroup and attack again in a different disguise at a later opportunity. In our time, it has fused many of its old disguises into one single mask comprised of liberalism, socialism, fasicm, and islamism. It has combined previous methods of attack into one giant effort directed by the UN, but it will fail once again. And after it fails, it will once again retreat and regroup and reappear at a later time in a new and more potent form. And when it reappears, it will simply be the same cast of characters wearing more disguises. Eventually, these characters will be defeated permanently by Christ Himself... but in the meantime, it is up to the instruments of God to send them into another strategic retreat.

The Left is not stupid. The Left is Evil. Recognize that, and treat it as such. The next time you argue with a Leftist about this war, tell him to his or her face that what they want is the destruction of Israel. And tell them that is what they want even if they aren't consciously aware of it themselves or willing to admit it. The truth may not set them free, but it will comdemn them as they should be.

That's not what it says. Your reference is from Genesis 12:3 and that specific promise was given to Abraham, not to his descendants.

At the end, Jerusalem, with the rest of the world, will be burned up. 2 Pet 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

BTW, I don't mind engaging in honest discourse, but you really should refrain from personal insults unless you're tired of debating. If all you desire is to trade insults, then perhaps you should return to mere lurking vs. posting.

Yes, I am tired of debating. I have been debating against the blind and the ignorant for quite some time. That's part of the reason I dropped out of here when I did, because debating with those who refuse to see is very tiring. It is time and energy wasted. But I came back to say what I've said because my heart needed to share it. And what you see as a personal insult is merely a clinical observation of fact, proven by your further responses.

I have written what I have written here, and I will not debate. I have said all I need to say and there is nothing to add to it, and I will not be trapped into participating in endless circular arguments like the ones taking place on the Security Council. Let my words be accepted by those who are willing, and objected to by those who are not.

In the meantime, the lawless, godless mob cries out, "Give us Barabbas!" as they rally for Saddam Hussein and crucify the Christian George W. Bush.

I will say this one last thing to you, insolent one: If you are saying that Israel is no more special to God than any other nation, because God stated that He is not a respecter of persons, then you are comparing apples and oranges. One has nothing to do with the other!

The entire Old Testament, really, is a diary of the relationship between God and Israel, and it's quite obvious that Israel is very special to Him. Several times, He describes Himself figuratively as a lover, and a jealous one at that. When Israel returns that love (meaning that its people walk in His ways and keep His commandments), He bestows blessings upon it. However, when Israel strays and cheats with illicit suitors (meaning that its people run off after false doctrines and gods), He is jealous and angry. And He chastises Israel to make them turn back to Him, for its own good.

Israel was, is, and will be central to God's plan for the salvation of humanity. He called Abraham out of Ur to found Israel. He gave the Law to humanity through Israel. He gave the Prophets to humanity through Israel. And finally, He gave Messiah to humanity through Israel. Then he scattered Israel all across the earth, so that His ways and His commandments would spread across the earth. And now, in End Times, He has brought Israel back to that spot on the map where He first established it, just as He promised He would. And End Time events will revolve around Israel, because as I said, Israel is the center of the world in God's eyes. Right now, He is allowing the Enemy and his forces to occupy the ground for the Temple until that time arrives which He has established for the reign of His Son on earth to begin. Israel is the prized real estate which Satan is trying to steal in its entirety to keep the Son from coming into His kingdom in Jerusalem. If you find this hard to accept, then it is because your heart is hard. And your words to me prove that your heart is hard.

You say I hurl personal insults because I said you were blind. Christ accused the self-righteous scribes and pharisees of being "fools and blind". Was He hurling personal insults? No, He was simply speaking the truth, as did I. I am not afraid of the heat in the kitchen, I simply will not argue with one who is obstinate, like you. It's obvious you've read the Bible. Please read it again, for you understand very little. The first step is to admit that to yourself, rather than to object to me.

Great post and truthful words. Even here at FR reside some of the blind. Their rage against the Sovereign is displayed clearly in their replies. Truth is not debated, as it stands firm and you do well to not debate with those who would incite vitriolic rhetoric.

Christ, through Israel is indeed the fulfillment of God's promise on earth. Through Israel, God has offered redemption to all, but pride is too heavy and burdensome a taskmaster to those who reject God's grace. The servants of the prince of this world know whom they serve and Whom they rage against, but they will not confess it with their mouths, for then would come confession and possibly repentance.

Neither of you know what you're talking about. Back it up with a specific scripture. You can't do it.

If you knew Bible, you would know that the old testament deals with two dispensations: patriarchal and mosaical, not just mosaical.

Also, the mosaical dispensation was temporary, until the law of Christ was established. In fact, in Galatians 5:1 Paul warns about being entangled in the law of Moses which is "the yoke of bondage."

God loves Israel, but only will save them through Christ. Gal 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

I don't know where you're getting your nonsense, but you still have not provided a single shred of evidence. So far, you've only misquoted a vague reference to the Bible. Pretty pathetic.

You still have not substantiated your statements. You make indefensible statements, and offer no proof. Cite book, chapter and verse. If the entire Bible supports your position, then it shouldn't be too hard to give a reference. Your whining and moaning proves nothing, other than that you can prove nothing.

You said that in the eyes of God, Israel is the center of the world. That is utter nonsense. There is no scripture that even implies such. In fact, God was frequently minded to destroy them. Num 14:12 is referring to His displeasure with the Jews: "I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they." God's blessings upon national Israel were conditional; never unconditional. Israel, as God's heritage, was temporary, until the church of Christ was established. Then, the only people God would have would be Christians, either Jewish Christians or Gentile Christians.

What you and people of your ilk are too blind to see is that Israel is no different to God than any other people. When Christ died on the cross, all men became equal. All men are esteemed equally in God's eyes, and the only way any man, including Jews, can be saved, is through faith and water baptism in Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:38)

Isa.45:17
