Today's Ari Fleischer Press Briefing: WHERE WAS HELEN?
The White House
| March 7, 2003

So several reporters (especially the WorldNetDaily loon, of all people) demanded to know why Queen Helen was not allowed to spew last night, and Ari gave the exact, factual answer: They were looking for REPORTERS last night, not columnists.
But more importantly, Ari himself did not call on The Old Hag today! Was he intentionally snubbing her? Or did she stay home and pout like a little girl instead of coming in to work today?

Notice how Terry Moron of ABC News ALWAYS sits next to Hag Helen at the WH Press Conferences??? There must be something about a smelly, ugly, anti-American hag that appeals to him. Or maybe he is just her cabana boy.

Drudge has a link to the Compost where they were complaining that she'd been ignored last night. Some other maggot lefty too.
Ha!

I can just see Helen doing her best Arnold Horseshack at the next press conference, frantically waving her hand in the air, "oh, oh, oh, Mr. Kotter, call on me, call on me, ....", while Ari makes a point of taking a question from every other journalist in the room before saying...."Well, if there's no more questions, I'll see you all tomorrow".

with the exception of Dasshole and the beast, I wish no one heart ache or sorrow, (they appear incapable of either.) No matter how bad she was, she was just an old lady......

I have to say, being moved to the third row last night, and then not even called on, probably hurt her to her heart, made her feel very old and she didn't show up today at all. I certainly hope so.
Why should there be no consequences for her relentlessly vicious attacks on the President? Obviously Thomas believed she could use her position to launch leftist broadsides indefinitely.
I am delighted that this appears not to be the case.

And did you hear that psycho Lester what's-his-name complain about the procedure last night? I believe he outright stated that Bush knew exactly what questions were coming from which reporters. Ari cut him off very quickly. Wouldn't be the first time presidential press conferences were prearranged. I certainly had the impression that was what was going on during Clinton press conferences.
Les Kinsolving has never struck me as psycho.

Sam Donaldson was asking on his radio show this morning why nobody asked Bush about the reports about the capture of bin Laden.

If she wasn't so good looking she would be absolutely intolerable.
Pretty is as pretty does.

Drudge says she was in the 3rd row and it ended a long time tradition that she was allowed to ask a question. I did not read all of the report.

"pre-screened questions to a president that looks down at his notes while answering them."
Nonsense. He looked down at the list of reporters to call on, and may have had some key points he wanted to cover. if you seriously believe that the questions were pre-screened, what questions are the type Bush would desire. What questions are the unasked ones that Bush would have avoided?
You are being silly.

You guys are gonna feel awful when somebody discovers Helen has been in her one room apartment, dead for the past week. She has looked dead for at least the last 10 years...how could you tell?
To: The Wizard
She was not a journalist, but a columnist and yes, they CAN be enemies.
I do not know how Helen's private life is and I may feel compassion for her if these press conferences are what keep her going. But, she has got to realize that asking biased questions is not the mark of a great journalist, only a blowhard.

What heart? Whatever organ served as her heart during Clinton's reign turned into a gall bladder the moment Gore finally saw the light and cashed in his chips.
