08:16 PST (AP) -- Mohamed ElBaradei of the International Atomic Energy Agency also took a swipe at U.S. intelligence, saying his analysis now definitively showed that suspect aluminum tubes were not destined for equipment that could be used to refine uranium for nuclear weapons use.
"Extensive field investigation and document analysis have failed to uncover any evidence that Iraq intended to use these 81mm tubes for any project other than the reverse engineering of rockets," ElBaradei said.
ElBaradei also told the council that the IAEA found no evidence to support reports that Iraq tried to buy uranium from Niger.
"Based on thorough analysis, the IAEA has concluded, with the concurrence of outside experts, that documents which formed the basis for the reports of recent uranium transactions between Iraq and Niger are in fact not authentic," he said. "We have therefore concluded that these specific allegations are unfounded."

Germany siding with Blix. Of course they are as will France, Russia and China. They've just been told Iraq cooperating and inspections are working and I see the anti-war group assembling for another 'peaceful' march.

"The unity of the international community is the number 1 priority"!!! Unity meaning mob rule? Unity at the expense of justice and truth is no Unity at all.

Bottom line in less than the 20,000 words Blixie and ElBodyBoy used: they want the United States to give them the tools and intelligence so they can take the credit and tell the world 'SEE?? INSPECTIONS
WORK!!', thus thwarting the US and making France the seat of world power.
PLEASE, COLONEL TELL HIM THE ANSWER IS 'NO'!

OK, what's the consensus around here as to WHY Bush wants to go ahead and get that vote from the UN? Does he want to prove how useless the UN is? Does he actually think they will turn around at the last minute (like they did for 1441)? Is it all for Tony Blair?
To: carton253
What about the liberation of the Iraqi people that are suffering today?
Germany is hiding their fingerprints all over the weapons in Iraq.
The French sold spare parts for the Iraqi Mirage planes in January and they believe the Germans had a part in going around the embargo.
The German Ambassador needs to vacate his office along with the rest of the UN and get off the soil of the United States like yesterday!
