Of course, they're not covering it. The "pro-war" rallies were a conservative stance.

The media also doesn't like to run stories of where a citizen having a gun saved a life either. I've never seen one story of that.

Coverage of the sniper dropped off immediately after it was discovered that he was black AND Muslim. If he was a white "gun nut" they would have had a million news magazine specials on interviewing psychologists.

I could go out, but you get the idea. It's not considered "news worthy" by the libs running major media outlets.

I'm sure there is some bias here, but the Washington Times, from what I could tell, didn't mention the rallies either on Monday morning...

the news media portrays the anti war movement as mainstream. Only shows the pro war forces in our leaders.
I think the media is not so much anti war, as they are portraying the protests as anti Bush. Some of the reports, especially one I saw air on our NBC affiliate (KOMU Columbia, Mo.) showing the banners and signs of the anti war protesters are nothing but offensive material. I criticize the joking manner some of the anti Bush signs were portrayed. To me they are totally offensive in the portrayal of our leaders in a time where we need to portray unity to the naysayers of the world who are nothing but enabling oppression because they fail to stand against it.

Our local Pro America rally recieved no coverage by the 3 tv stations, but some attention from the 2 local newspapers, although their attention, once again, placed focus on the 15 anti war demonstrators in attendance, not the 500 who braved snow and cold to attend.

My wife remoinded me last night to not get upset over the lack of coverage of the pro American cause. We should just continue doing what we are doing, keep our faith in our cause, and not worry about the opposition. They will always be there regardless of what we do to further the cause of good against evil.

"They're trying to strike some sort of balance because they have gotten a lot of criticism for being too much in the administration's corner with regard to Iraq policy," said Burns. -------------- Yeh, RIGHT!

"Certain media outlets are finding these demonstrations rather strange and don't know what to make of them," said Burns.

Their job is to report. They don't need to know what to make of them how to spin it.

Thanks for posting this. And the mainstream media still is clueless why conservative talk radio and "fair and balanced" cable news channels are whipping their @$$ in the ratings?
