Superstar diva Barbra Streisand has used her website to attack claims she isn't patriotic. Some America media sources slammed the actress/singer a traitor after she made outspoken anti-George W. Bush and anti-war statements. But the Funny Girl actress angrily responds, "I, for one, am a patriotic American who loves this country." She adds, "Saddam Hussein is a horrific dictator who should disarm. . . . But I do not think war is the answer right now." And of the attack on her, she continues, "It used to be in politics that there was a certain amount of class and eloquence, even though there were strong disagreements over deeply important questions. But, as usual, the Republicans have resorted to name-calling and mean-spiritedness."
