Hollywood would never "discipline" its own fellow travelers. Would it?

The Screen Actors Guild is warning the entertainment industry that it better not blacklist people who speak out against war with Iraq.

Don't worry, the American public is perfectly capable of sanctioning these idiots without the help of the entertainment industry.

I will not pay spend my money to see any of their movies, TV shows, or listen to their music. Go ahead Hollywood execs and through good money after bad. They are blacklisting themselves. Just shut-up and say your stupid lines or sing you stupid little songs. I don't want to hear you stupid little opinions.

What about the fact that those actors and actresses are not the commodity that they once were. Americans are not going to quickly forget these acts of sedition by those who owe everything they have to the Americans they are betraying.

The statement released Monday champions free speech, and said, "Even a hint of the blacklist must never again be tolerated in this nation."

On the other hand, a pinklist to punish those homophobic christians is perfectly acceptable. Also, a greenlist to punish conservatives who dare to speak out against environazis is a good idea.

Be warned! The next thing they will do is come after the people who refuse to pay to see anti-war celebrities on the big screen. They will call it a civil rights violation, hate think, or something similar.

Then they will have legislation passed that every movie theatre must show their movies.

Then legislation will be passed forcing us to see their movies under the penalty of fines, jail time and/or death! /sarcasm>

I'd like to see every one of them lose money. If enough people quit seeing their movies and buying their CD's, the combined ego deflation would be enough hot air to create global warming for real :)

Oh, this makes perfect sense. Movie makers should have to cast actors no matter how unpopular they are. Who cares about the box-office bottom line. This is about art! Works for me.

Total hypocrites. The industry has been making it hard for conservative actors for years. Where was the union warning on that?

I refuse to go to a movie theater to patronize these leftists. I'm a patient man, I'll wait until it's on TV or I won't watch at all.

Marti (Actor Martin Sheen) has a real problem with other people expressing their disgust doesn't he. He thinks he should be able to express his opinions and damn our President in the most strident of terms, but if someone objects and can't stand to work with his type of ilk, their rights are moot. That's okay Marti, I'll never watch a product with you in it again. If someone thinks they'll make money off your involvement I've got a clue for them. NEVER

The 1st amendment allows free speech. Also the speaker is still responsible for the actions of his mouth. If he get a sour response, that's just too damned bad. When the ball is in the listener's court he is only going to fire it back. The left is always trying to dissolve individual responsibility. If you can't stand the heat just STFU.

What is amazing is that we invite them into our homes and they take a huge offensive dump on our living room floor and they say " hey I have freedom of speach , deal with it" Okay we will. And you will wonder what happened to your glorious career in the meantime.
