LOS ANGELES -- The Screen Actors Guild is warning the entertainment industry that it better not blacklist people who speak out against war with Iraq.
The statement released Monday champions free speech, and said, "Even a hint of the blacklist must never again be tolerated in this nation."

The best thing we call all do for anti-US musicians is DOWNLOAD as much of their music as possible and pass it around freely. Take away their income and you take away their voice. Bankrupt them!

Total hypocrites. The industry has been making it hard for conservative actors for years. Where was the union warning on that?

I refuse to go to a movie theater to patronize these leftists. I'm a patient man, I'll wait until it's on TV or I won't watch at all.

Marti (Actor Martin Sheen) has a real problem with other people expressing their disgust doesn't he. He thinks he should be able to express his opinions and damn our President in the most strident of terms, but if someone objects and can't stand to work with his type of ilk, their rights are moot. That's okay Marti, I'll never watch a product with you in it again. If someone thinks they'll make money off your involvement I've got a clue for them. NEVER

The Hollywood Ten where Communists and willing tools of the Soviet Union. This is the kind of revisionist history we can expect from the Screen Actors' Guild. Yeah Commies lost jobs and their income but millions lost their lives in the Soviet Empire. Which doesn't disturb one iota the sleep of the post modern Hollyweird Left.

I started boycotting them years ago.

Anything with Mr. Estevez - oops, I mean Martin Sheen - never gets watched in this household.
Add to that Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins & a laundry list of others.
I have my own personal "blacklist", and no union is going to "WARN" me to the contrary. :)
To: I still care
Hey, let'em make more movies no-one wants to see. That'll help the unions.

Same here. How can you go out and watch someone who hates everything you love about this nation? They're subversive jerks.

McCarthy was right! That has always bothered me. The media killed the messager (McCarthy) and praised the pro communist actors, writers, directors and producers and since media writes, or at least influences what is written, about the "history of a nation", our youth will never know the truth about HollyRed.

I believe I started with Chris Christopherson. One night I saw him on the Carson show. He was so loaded he couldn't function. It disgusted me. It's one thing to party. It's another to go on public television and make a complete fool of yourself.

The 1st amendment allows free speech. Also the speaker is still responsible for the actions of his mouth. If he get a sour response, that's just too damned bad. When the ball is in the listener's court he is only going to fire it back. The left is always trying to dissolve individual responsibility. If you can't stand the heat just STFU.

What is amazing is that we invite them into our homes and they take a huge offensive dump on our living room floor and they say " hey I have freedom of speach , deal with it" Okay we will. And you will wonder what happened to your glorious career in the meantime.

My husband and I couldn't agree more. He waits until the movies he wants to see are on TV. I won't even watch them then. (However that might have something to do with the owner operator of the remote! We never watch anything for more that a minute. I think that's why I read a lot!)

Have you ever read about the Venona project? I read a book on it a couple summers ago. Amazing.
To: Constitution Day
But, the commies and their sympathizers at perfectly able to black list that in the biz who stand with America. I almost guarantee you that any Hollywood type follish enough to support the war on Iraq or take an anti-commie stand will find it much tougher to find work because of his reasonable position.

Is there a current, updated list on FR of the traitor actors/ actresses whose movies we will NOT go see?
.
I think that would be helpful.
To: dirtboy
Is this going to be the new excuse when actors can't find work?
