Operation Electronic Storm- Report Thread
United for Victory ^ | February 26, 2003 | Adam Yoshida

Posted on 02/26/2003 8:58:12 AM PST by adamyoshida

Well folks, today is the day. Remember to send out the emails (view www.adamyoshida.com/victory.html for instructions). I've started this thread here so people can provide responses.

Already, as of 9AM PST it seems like several of the email boxes have been pushed over quota. Also someone out there has been going around and signing me up for every single mailing list concievable, so I have over two hundred emails in my inbox this morning.

Please pass around word of Operation Electronic Storm today.

You are the man!

I hope that you don't mind, but I took the liberty of posting a reminder earlier. Seems that alot of folks are jumping on this pretty hard and heavy!

Thanks for getting this ball rolling!

I removed all the qoutes on the email address, since quotes don't work in a lot of mailing programs or mailing sites.

On that day take the following letter:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express to you my support for President Bush’s policy towards Iraq.  For far too long the people of Iraq have been horribly oppressed and tortured by the dictator Saddam Hussein, and every day that Saddam is allowed to remain in power is another day for him to continue developing weapons of mass destruction and another day on which he might use those weapons or pass them on to terrorist groups or use them himself.

It is clear the United Nations inspections are not working- and that they will never work so long as the present Iraqi regime is allowed to endure.  The only possible way to ensure that Iraq is disarmed- and to alleviate the suffering of the Iraqi people- is to destroy the evil regime of Saddam Hussein with the use of force.  Whether or not the United Nations approves the use of Force or not does not matter to me, by its recent actions the United Nations has already proven that it is nothing more than a modern reincarnation of the League of Nations- a talking shop full of high-minded rhetoric, but without the guts to stand up to totalitarian monsters when it sees them.

Therefore, I ask you to join with me in publicly declaring support for President Bush and his policies in Iraq.

Awww... so many of them came back undeliverable because the mailboxes are over the limit.  Filthy liberals, thet don't keep their mailboxes any better tended to than their warped minds.

Guess I'll just have to send them again tomorrow.  And the day after.... and the day after...

This email is still opened. I had to add it to my "march" since I signed up with them to "protest". They just didn't know I would be protesting THEM rather than MY gov :)
