Considering some of the things I've seen her eat, rather.

I shoved my hand down into his throat and got the chunk out, when it became obvious he was in trouble. He was always like this--a quart of dry dog chow would be inhailed in 30 seconds.

Pig ears feel more like plastic than leather, so I guess I could see how a sharp piece might lodge in her throat. Thanks for the concern.

Wayne Roush holds a ball of ground piglet carcass before feeding it to alligators, Tuesday Feb. 18, 2003, at the Iowa State University Extension research farm in Castana, Iowa. A harsh fact of hog farming is that not all piglets in a litter survive, leaving the farmer with the trouble of burying the animals or the expense of having them hauled away. Someday soon, however, that farmer may be able to dispose of the animals by feeding them to new dwellers on his farm: alligators.

What time is their news conference condemning this horrendous act?

He was hoping to go into the business of making silk purses.

My vet told me to never give my dogs pig ears because they splinter and become shards.
Rawhide is easier for them to chew and digest.

My vet told me to never give my dogs pig ears because they splinter and become shards. Rawhide is easier for them to chew and digest. Some of those rawhide chews are so expensive, though. The one she really likes is about 5 dollars for one of them. My wife and I started getting the pig ears because there are a handful of them for about the same price, and we give one to her a day to make them last.
I'll have to talk to my wife about this, though. I never would have thought these pig ears would shatter. We don't get her bird bones for just that reason, only beef and pork bones.

Just goes to show you--you can never be too young, too rich, too thin-- or have too many pig ears
